Roma — Restaurant in Munich

Beware, waiters try to cheat here.

Our bill came out to be 51.7 euros but when we asked the waiter that we were ready to pay, the waiter got a calculator like device and showed me the total amount as 57.1 euros. We had some trust in them initially so paid 60 euros.

But, after rethinking about what we ordered and prices, we asked for the Rechnung. The waiter gave one which says that total amount was 57.1. When we pointed out that that was not correct bill (basically not what we ordered), he kept checking the screen and trying to generate bills from other tables. By that time, I was sure that he was trying to scam us, so I started adding up the numbers looking at menu. Then the waiter miraculously presented the actual bill amounting to 51.7 and says that chili oil + cheese mixture costs extra 3 euros. Never once in my last two years in Munich had I paid for chili oil and cheese mixture for pasta. When I asked him to include that in the bill, he again looks at us with blank face. By that time, we got fed up and just took the extra change and left. Never again.

I am only giving one star bc that’s the lowest star I can provide. I set my 3 kids (all under 5) down at the table 45 mins before closing time with their McFlurry ice cream, from McDonald’s. So my husband and I could go to the counter and order drinks while our food is being cooked. As I was heading to the counter to order, a rude man greeted me, rude and abruptly saying something in German, and I don’t speak German but I could tell voice and context that it was to move.. as my husband and I tried to walk to the counter to speak to another guy, to tell them I was trying to order from their restaurant. He heard nothing as he continually, RUDELY, aggressively followed us to move until we got up, because they can’t eat ice cream from elsewhere and sit at their table. The pizza was okay - nothing special, just your average pizza. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall, and while mall restaurants often offer less than regular restaurants in terms of cuisine and atmosphere, my impression of this place, compared to other mall restaurants, was initially 5/5. Everything seemed fine - until something happened. My friend and I were sitting at a 4-person table in an almost-empty restaurant. Out of nowhere, the waitress decided to start cleaning and piled all the menus and tissues onto our table while we were eating. Really?
