My colleagues and I have visited this restaurant in the past, however, not anymore!

The food is average however, just recently upon paying the bill, the waiter was given a tip (not required in Germany and typically just rounded up or.. if exceptional service an extra euro or two).

Surprisingly, the waiter did not give a receipt (not available), when paying by credit card... upon leaving the restaurant, a "credit card alert" went off on my phone, and showed the waiter had added an additional 6 euro tip... when he was given 2 euros for 1 person.

Upon immiediatley coming back into the restaurant and confronting the waiter (older man with gray hair), his face turned ash... he was caught! He was stunned that a credit card alert was so quickly sent... I demanded my money back and he immiediately complied. Upon looking at the reviews below, this is a consistant theme at this restauarant with CREDIT CARD SCAMS - Activity. The German authorities need to get involved and fine this establishment and suspend their license or close it down!

Excellent food in a neighborhood restaurant. Walking distance from Munich Marriott Hotel and only two blocks from Nordfriedhof U Bahn stop. Fried mushroom appetizer was a great start. Weiner Schnitzel was homemade and perfect!. My husband has had the same plate all 3 times we've visited - the "Robbers Plate" with 4 meats (pork, beef, lamb, turkey) is excellent. The Duo, grilled calamari and shrimp with spinach/potatoes mixture, was delicious. We also brought a group of six for dinner, everyone loved it. Full bar and good beer! A nice little Bavarian restaurant where you can find good traditional German food and also delicious beer. The place is not that crowded, so no need for upfront reservations. Sometimes it takes some time for the waiter to recognize empty glasses. So, waiting for another drink is not uncommon. The reason might be that there's always only one service personnel.
