Wirtshaus Zamdorfer Biergarten — Restaurant in Munich

One of the idyllic places everyone who gets to visit Munich should try is the Wirtshaus Zamdorfer.

A beer garden with indoor eating facilities that is reminiscent of Bavarian tradition, with its rustic benches on the lush grass, sun warming you up on a sunny day and convivial atmosphere for group and personal conversations; it is an experience well worth a try.

The walk to the garden in spring is a sight to bask ad behold, with greenery so lavish you could get lost in natures beauty.

Cuisine is a mix between international and Bavarian, favorites for me was the schnitzel, with the most delightful deserts I had in Munich.

What is a visit without trying out the Bavarian Weißbier& dark beer?

They thankfully have an English version of the menu so be on the look-out for this, the staff on hand are also quite helpful so non-native German speakers don’t have to worry.

All in all, it’s a must experience for anyone looking for the fabled Bavarian...

The worst beer garden I have ever been in Munich. And I have been in more than dozen.

We were 4 friends having beer and main dish.

The waitress was very rude he argued on our orderes, Charged us for pretzels that we didn't ordered. When the bill came we didn't want to confront about the pretzels because it's only 3 euros. But he was very rude asking very aggressively to add 15% for tip.

I believe that since we are not local he was looking to take the advantage. He just didn't know that we frequently in Munich and know how things going.

Food was incredible. Huge portions and great prices. Service, however, was awful. We only speak English and the Server asked us a question we didn’t understand and he got so frustrated he stormed off. He was so rude and unfriendly the remaining of the time it made the entire dining experience very uncomfortable. He also forgot one of the appetizers we ordered (probably because he was busy being so mad). It’s too bad he ruined our experience because everything else was great.
