The coffees and friendly people can be the only reason to make a special trip to Ulm. I knew this place was special when i was given a choice of beans for the flat white (fruity/light or nutty/not so light). The flat white was perfectly executed with fruitiness as promised. My next round (V60) was a very decent surprise when the barista selected some light roasted beans for me. The presentation was top notch with three cups presented, each with different nose and temperature (different surface areas). It was probably the best hand pour coffee I have had in Germany. But the final was the highlight… the barista suggested that I try a geisha espresso. I have never tasted anything like it … it didn’t taste like coffee as it didn’t have any hint of bitterness. It really was special.
The team has invested a lot in fancy equipment but the main thing is they are very passionate about their coffees.
Definitely worth a special...
