Have tried this place, quiet a few times recently, also visited frequently for dining-in over the last 3 weeks.

What is good: Food is always good and has not disappointed. It is slightly on the bland side by Asian food standards, but they do have different types of spice add-ons on each table when dining in.

What is OK: Atmosphere is not bad but wierd since you'll invariably be made to share a table if you are alone or just 2 guests when visiting at busy hours (even after a reservation was made).

What is not good:

The not very friendly service of the counter staff (it's order at counter here). It's like the lady is perpetually angry at you, sometimes cuts you off mid-sentence and the replies from her can easily be perceived as rude (maybe even if that's unintentional).

It's pricey for the portions, but can't complain too much as the food is good.

Waiting times can be unacceptable (when dining in!), anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes isn't uncommon, 20-30 minutes is common. Don't go to here to have a nice relaxed meal. Eat, waaaait, pay, and get-out is the rule here!

They want to charge for every trivial thing! You get your order after waiting for over an hour, you want to leave since you lost your appetite and you want to take away the rest of your meal; but not without paying an additional 50 cents per (tiny) container! I find this not OK, not because of the price, but since I find it bad service to make you pay extra for wanting to eat later, especially after the slow service killed...

Shame on you !

I’m quite picky with my Asian food, so I wasn’t sure what to expect given some of the reviews. I thought the food was amazing and we had an off the menu shrimp pad Thai with pad kra prow. The menu was a bit hard to decipher, but I just asked the staff if they had my regular favorite Thai dishes. Thankfully she spoke English and the food was ready in about 10 minutes! Having travelled to Thailand multiple times, I can say that the food was authentic and the pad Thai was not made with ketchup, which unfortunately so many places do. They also had some daily specials written on the chalk board with many options for vegetarians.

I’m already thinking about what and when I...

We made reservations and glad we did. When you walk in, every table has a sign for the time and party size for future diners. We got fried rice with chicken and pineapple. I really love the rice. It was a large portion to share. Also got ma ma suppe. There were 5 soup choices, 2 of which contained coconut milk and the other two spicy. So we were left with ma ma soup which contained noodles. I had overlooked that part and when it came out, it was basically a fancy version of instant ramen with vegetables. We have vegetarian restrictions in our party and they had a few dishes that were vegetarian friendly.

Good family run restaurant with only 4 stoves. They are super popular both dine in and phone order. The food is good, a pity that I couldn't try the Tom Yum soup, they should really consider adding a smaller size of the soup to the menu. To Asian people that would be the perfect drinks. Have to mention that they forgot my order and I found out that after waiting for more than 1 hour. Luckily I was not in a hurry. The price is very economical.
