SAKURA Sushi Cafe Taunus — Restaurant in Oberursel

Sakura is always clean and tidy when passing by. We saw their sign for ramen and decided to try it out. The tonkotsu broth tasted authentic, and the portion size was just right. They have a nice selection of japanese drinks, and their sushi looks great, although I haven't tried it yet. I have been to a few places for ramen in the past, and it's really difficult to find a broth that your want to finish drinking that isn't too salty or too bland and this broth was perfect. The karaage chicken was seasoned perfectly and tasted authentic as well. Their Ramune (Japanese lemonade) was incredibly tasty as well and a nice contrast with a hot meal. The staff is very friendly and fast. It is always nice and quiet there as I don't think enough people have found this incredible restaurant or if they have they are ordering delivery. Would recommend to anyone to try as they have something on the menu for everyone. I can also recommend the Takoyaki and the miso soup which are just great staples of Japanese cuisine. Absurdly bad customer service, inhouse it's quite difficult to communicate with some of the staff and we found ourselves explaining what we wanted several times. Once you have ordered the quality is good, no doubt. The room is ok-ish, they clearly have an issue with the right temperature / humidity in the room.

If you try calling for table reservation or to order - good luck. They told us many months ago already that they had a problem with the phone line. It still seems to be the case. The online order system says that our address at Hohemark is outside the delivery area! It almost seems as they don't want the business. Vielen Dank für Ihre Erklärung. Es war wirklich ärgerlich, dass ich Sie nicht erreichen konnte. Das wäre auf jeden Fall besser gewesen, wenn Sie mich angerufen und mir Bescheid gegeben hätten.
