The place could be nice if the people working there weren’t so impolite. My friends and I came this Saturday to get something to eat and drink while studying together. Just for reference, in a time span of two hours we ordered two quiches, two pieces of cake, 4 coffees and spent around 30 euros. It was all good until one of the workers came and accused us to have only bought a drink, therefore not having the right to be occupying a place for that long and, with a very rude tone, asked us to leave to give space to other customers. As we left, we noticed half of the place was empty, with endless space for many other - in that moment non-existing - costumers. Biobackhaus Leib offers a sortiment of breads, sandwiches, drinks (both caffeinated and decaffeinated). Their bread is quite delicious and the location is great (Right next to the Nauenor Tor) . However, I have stumbled upon, both directly and indirectly, unfriendly workers. This really does dampen the mood, especially when you are wanting to eat at the Bäckerei. I was rather shocked reading some of the reviews, mentioning a very friendly staff. That may pertain to one or two of the workers, but overall, I, sadly, have to disagree. I've been here a few times and have had pleasant enough experiences- however, I was really disappointed with today's visit. I went with two friends, and together we bought approximately €30 worth of coffee, cakes, and sandwiches periodically throughout a two hour window. We definitely would've bought more, however one of the waitresses came over and basically scolded us for buying "so little" during their busy time, and that we should either buy more or leave so they can give the table to someone else.
