Kneipe Hafthorn — Restaurant in Potsdam

We went here on a weekday and absolutely loved the cocktails — we had a Long Island Iced Tea and an Adios Motherfucker. Both were strong and full of flavor, just the way we like them. On the weekend though, the Long Island Iced Tea didn’t feel quite as strong (by the way, it’s listed as “ice tea” but it’s actually made with Coke — we switched it to Sprite). We ended up ordering an extra shot.

Cocktails are reasonably priced at around €10 each. Staff were polite and welcoming. The tables are large and shared, and while it does get busy, there’s a quick turnover so you can usually find a spot. We heard they sometimes have live music, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, a lively spot with good vibes — just be aware the drinks might vary a bit between weekday...

This is a good place to relax with some friends. Its special are burgers and potatoes. In winter it can be a bit cold inside and in summer it is a perfect place to have some beer in beer garden. One thing I noticed though. I have visited this place on many occasions on its opening hours and every time whatever I ordered the dish was not fresh. It was always some kind of leftover warmed up in the microwave. To summarize: Nice place to meet up with friends for a drink. I would not advise to bring small kids there (smoke in a beer garden, loud noise inside). Some dishes might not be fresh. Immediately ask for a fresh one if...

Hafthorn is an amazingly unique tasty-burger-joint pub filled with great waiters, round wooden tables and lots of great conversations. The burgers and fries here are delicious and the beers that they offer as well. I have been living in Potsdam for the past 10 years and I can say that it's one of my go-to places for good talks with buddies, tasty food and a nice pub-atmosphere. Also during the Summer they open up the Hof, where you can also sit outside. Whether you are visiting or live you, I highly recommend...
