Pomodori Potsdam — Restaurant in Potsdam

Our family visit at this płace was yesterday and we have a mixed feelings. My pizza was fine, nothing amazing, however proper. I have a nice small talk to one of the waiters. However the end of the visit was unexpectedly unpleasant. Waitress came with a bill and she suggested us to leave a tip. The bill was over €60, we left on a table €70 and for a longer moment that lady was looking at us and she asked 3 times is it was ok (means: should I give you a change). It was absolutely unprofessional and rude behaviour! We know how does it work- it is expected to leave a tip if you are satisfied but not when someone tries to force you. So... before you go there check other places as at this shopping mall there is a lot of smaller and bigger restaurants & fast foods. And one more thing! There is no option to pay by card!!! Cash only! We came to Postdam as a tourists and not Germans so it would be much easier to pay by card - we leave in...

We had a party of 6. Wanted to sit down and eat. The restaurant was half empty. We asked if he had a table for us. The host who was very rude asked if we had reservations to which we replied no. He said that he couldnt seat us because we didn't have a reservation. We replied how is that possible if your restaurant is half empty. We turned around and left, went to eat somewhere else. Walked by afterwards and the restaurant was still almost empty....

Den Stern habe ich lediglich vergeben, um überhaupt eine Bewertung abgeben zu können. Während wir auf das Essen warten schreibe ich diese Bewertung, weil ich über den rotzfrechen Service extrem verärgert bin. Du kommst an, bekommst die Karte, wirst sofort mit der Frage bombardiert, was man nun möchte ohne dabei nur ein freundliches Wort oder im Mindesten eine Beratung zu bekommen. Man kann Menüs wählen, die in der Summe ein wenig günstiger sind als wenn man einzeln zusammenstellt. Im Eifer des Gefechts und mit einem quengelnden Kleinkind haben wir das erstmal überblättert - und einzeln bestellt. Kurz darauf haben wir die Angebote mit identischem Inhalt gesehen und baten darum, dass man doch das Menü einbuche - wir haben ja den identischen Inhalt bestellt! "Geht nicht !!" Auf die Frage warum und warum man uns nicht darauf hinwies - Schulterzucken - "Geht nicht !!" Muss mich grad echt zusammenreißen um nicht ausfallend zu werden! Sowas arrogantes und freches habe ich noch nicht erlebt! Das Essen könnte jetzt mit Blattgold versehen geliefert werden - der Eindruck ist und bleibt im Eimer! Ich habe daraufhin nichts mehr bestellt ! Vorher verhungere ich lieber als sowas noch mit meinem Geld zu Supporten!

Pizza kam grad übrigens nicht geschnitten - fantastisch! Läuft bei denen...
