Tortallini was a surprise as the pasta dough is fresh parcel enclosed with ricotta cheese. Rosemary & sage flavour is abundant in this pasta tossed in butter & shavings of parmesan cheese. Best paired with a glass of white wine.

Portions are huge and service is very friendly. The food isn't gourmet fare (as in, say, nearby Breuer's Rüdesheimer Schloss) but excellent execution of down-to-earth fare - for example, the pork used for the breaded cutlet is of very high quality and practically fat free; also the mushroom soup had a rich, sumptuous flavour and was freshly foamed.
