Please do not listen to the bad reviews of this place. They lack context. And don't truly consider the quality of japanese food that you are in a different quality. The menu is simple, and that is exactly what to expect of quality food in japan/ramen restaurants. The owners are amazing, they take a lot of pride in their work. Fantastic ramen discovered in an unexpected place! Absolutely stunning decor - particularly loved the curtain design which had a version of the great wave off Kanagawa but with ramen! Although the restaurant was about to close after lunch, the owner was kind enough to accommodate us. The house cabinet wine was refreshing, and the miso rame with pork was exceptional! The gyoza was great too. Absolutely recommend this if you happen to visit Rudesheim - well worth a drive if you live somewhere...

This is the best Ramen that I've had in years. God, the broth is so delicious & rich. And my vegetarian GF can't get enough of the Vegetarian Ramen & Gyoza. 😋

And, the best thing about this place is that both the food and the service are consistently great. 🙂 We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. It's become our main motivation for a quick detour to Rüdesheim whenever we're visiting the Mainz area.
