Nice place to have German food on a shore of konigsee. The food is tasty with a great view of lake. Overall a good place. If you are interested in food this is the place, if you want very good hospitality its not so good. At times, you might feel ignored. So go here for food and nature, not for talking to staff or expecting anything from them.

No fireworks but location was amazebalzz. Beer was also very nice. To be honest it’s hard to have bad beer in Germany or Austria. Food was all right, nothing to rave about but solid fare. Schnitzel and Currywurst is what we had. Menu was in German only but the waitress spoke English.

Die Lage direkt am Königssee ist nicht zu toppen, vor allen Dingen, wenn man an der `Waterkant´ einen Tisch bekommt. Der herrliche Ausblick auf den regen Schiffsverkehr, die Berge im Hintergrund, die Touristenströme ... alles sehr abwechslungsreich. Der Service war okay. Mein Essen überdurchschnittlich teuer, für eine Apfelsaftschorle, einen kleinen Gemischten Salat und Schwammerln Rahm Schnitzel knapp € 40,- ausgegeben. Geschmacklich unterdurchschnittlich, das Essen war bereits kurz nach der Bestellung auf dem Tisch. Die Mini Schnitzelchen sehr blass, ob die überhaupt eine Pfanne gesehen haben, möchte ich bezweifeln. Wem es vorrangig ums Essen geht, ist im Biergarten nicht gut aufgeboben, obwohl er vom Restaurant Schiffmeister betrieben wird. Wem die Atmosphäre am Königsseeufer wichtig ist, dem kann ich einen Besuch empfehlen.

So bad The place is really nice but the people here terrible wee rich by the boat on the st Bartolomeu church în the middle of the montain and they say wee have 10 min wee go fast to toilet and they just left over there wee do not stay more then 5 min they seen us cos wee runing but they just left unbelievably horrible experience wee pay for tikets 45 euros each. And to be end of the story it was the last boat I have to call rescue team like 112 polizey and they ask us for money €250 horrible wee waiting more the 1 H to get collect from this place. I never recomend this place. I've been in many many place on this Europe plus Asia and more and never it happens such a thing I beeter go in Romania 🇷🇴 where people they really taking care care about and they do not leave you in the middle of nowhere...

Leider hat es zwischen 2022 und 2023, aber auch im Folgejahr 2024 nachgelassen. Preise wurden zum Teil deutlich angehoben bei kleineren Portionen. Beispiel: Salat mit Putenbruststreifen. 2022 noch ca. 5 Euro weniger gekostet und das Fleisch ist mindestens 2024 um 1/3 weniger geworden. Für zwei kleinere Gerichte (Salat+Reibekuchen) und 3 Getränken über 40€ dagelassen. Entspricht nicht mehr einem akzeptablen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Leider hatten wir auch eine unfreundliche Bedienung. Unserer Sohn wollte behilflich sein und wollte dem Kellner seinen Teller vom Tablett nehmen, worauf der Kellner ziemlich harsch ihn zurecht gewiesen hat. Ja, man macht es nicht, aber man hätte es auch freundlicher und mit Begründung sagen können. Unserem Sohn ist das Essen jedenfalls vergangen. Currywurst mit Pommes kostet 2024 über 15 Euro. Ein Wurstsalat absolut völlig lieblos hergerichtet, nur Wurst in Scheiben mit Dressing. Jede billige Kneipe macht das besser. Leider weiterhin nicht besonders freundlich.
