Absolutely awful experience! I regret not standing up and leaving the table after everything, I was just avoiding the embarrassment honestly, but I shouldn't have cared. Maybe it was a mistake already to come here on a very busy day (Valentines day). We obviously made a reservation, we go in and it's full but we get seated. People kept coming in and it was just getting tight. I don't know how you can accept this many people with the slowest working person ever and only one person working in the kitchen, but okay. Sat there for a good half an hour and not even the drinks were there. The woman just does not care, she is so chill and slow as if everything is working perfectly fine. And trust me it was not! I can't blame the chef cause he was trying his best to cook, fry and do it all alone. Sushi came, it looked quite disappointing, inside-outs were as small as the makis, gave them a try. Total disbelief: rice had no taste, fish had ni taste, grilled salmon is suspicious, not even the soy sauce had a flavor?? I stopped eating and sat there for a good 5 min thinking what's the best thing to do now? Make a scene? Get up and leave? Or just shut the hell up and eat to avoid any food waste or embarrassment? I decided for the latter, but now I regret it. Long story short, I don't know why people were queueing for this restaurant. Neither the service nor the food was good. I'm sad I wasted a meal of my day eating this, and wasted money for this, and most...
Read moreThe only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the interior, nice atmosphere and nice service. But the food was just beyond disappointing. The price is reasonable compare to the portion, but the quality and taste is just not right. We can taste old oil from deep fried dishes, Eel rice bowl was ok, but the rice was not hot and the eels was also almost room temperature, Salmon menu was just big portion, nothing else and sesame salad dressing was prepared with Chinese sweets sour sauce. If you want to have cheap Sushi andatmosphere like you are in Japan, go for it. Just not for the taste of the food. Ps. To the owner, i kmow you work hard and try to sell effortable sushi in cheap price, perhaps try to remove dishes in your menu and concentrate on what you...
Read moreI visited this place on a friend’s recommendation and had a pleasant experience. Since we went in the afternoon, we were able to take advantage of the happy hour offer on sushi. We ordered two platters, each with 24 pieces. The sushi was overall tasty and satisfying, with portions that were a bit small, but given the generous platter size, it was definitely filling. While the sushi was good, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice. The toilets were clean, which is always a plus. Just a heads-up make sure to carry cash as they don’t accept card or PayPal. Overall, it was a great spot to...
