Last week on 15.09 it was my third time here. Because my first two experiences were so nice . The third was almost a disaster. Beginning with the entrance. We were led in by a lady who had serious problems to check our European digital Covid passes. You should be more aware with the legislation inside EU and the complete vaccination scheme. Beside Pfizer, there are another 3 valid vaccines. And one of them has only one dose. Please learn them well. Anyway, after we were sitted another gentleman came and instead to present the menus asked again the vaccination proof. Maybe you should ask your staff to organize better, it was absolutely logic that we were already checked-in. Finally, after another explanation, we got our menus. I travelled often to Spain so I'm very found to Spanish cuisine and wines. I asked the gentleman which wine he'd recommend. He was simply puzzled, escused himself out because it was his first day of work(therefore did not know the wine list) and asked his supervisor to come. Really...We ordered pimientos del padron, jamon iberico with bread and zarzuela.Result : not enough salt on pimientos, to much on bread and a completly tasteless zarzuela( a blunt saltless sauce and an overcooked fish). They brought us salt and pepper to add more if we like. Of course we did not want to and returned the dish. The rest of the evening was filled by some cheese and wine. Sorry to say but a catalan creme should practically be very light and smooth, not like a instant pudding. In any great restaurant the chef or the cook would come to your table to excuse himself. Not here. They tried to save the evening, not adding the zarzuela on our bill. Simply disappointing. Maybe you should resume to tapas until a proper chef is found. While the meat paella had a distinct flavor, its consistency was more reminiscent of a rice soup than the traditional dish. Additionally, the steak portions were smaller than anticipated, which contributed to the perception of having overpaid for rice. However, the octopus stood out as exceptional, and the croquetas were quite tasty, albeit with a bit of room for improvement regarding their oiliness, suggesting a potential need for fresher oil.

Overall, our experience was positive. With some adjustments—especially to the meat paella and portion sizes—the dining experience could be significantly enhanced. The flavors were indeed impressive, and a greater focus on texture would elevate the meal further. It was noteworthy to observe that tipping is highly encouraged here, as it is not a common practice in Germany, which may leave some diners feeling somewhat uncomfortable, contrasting with the admirable work ethic displayed. 3 days ago (02/20/2023) my boyfriend and I went to celebrate a special date at this restaurant. Since we moved to Stuttgart we wanted to come here for dinner, but we left it for a special date - unfortunately. we ordered a seafood Paella, and at first we thought it was a little strange, but we ate it anyway - we were there to celebrate! after finishing dinner, around 8:30 pm, we went home to rest because we would have an important day on tuesday. at 2:30 in the morning we were surprised by a feeling of discomfort followed by incessant vomiting (both me and my boyfriend) which made us very worried mainly because we had important commitments in the next few days. But we couldn't help it, we both spent Tuesday in bed, nauseous and with all the symptoms worthy of a food infection caused by our last meal.

i am very sad to say just from the beautiful place i will never come back to this restaurant and very much Hope someone can do something regarding this issue, is was a really...
