Fridas Pier / Club- und Eventschiff — Restaurant in Stuttgart

This was an amazing night to dance 5 hours straight for me "unpacking all the dance moves I had in my tool chest". Even I was some of the "oldest" around (I didn't mind, it was cool!).

Everything was amazin and I loved the DJ Junkie that I actually came for from far away. Great lighting strobe effects and I came well prepared with "Loop" Earplugs to enjoy the powerful sound system that blew me away.

Super duper staff and cute people. I did connect to quite a few people and had a drink on top deck with heating lamps to help to stay in the otherwise chilly October night.

Only downside was that not everyone did follow the guidelines not to smoke in the lower deck. I just moved away to other dance zones in the end as I was frowned upon when I told a few guys "Isn't this non smoking here?" and I was labeled as "uncool" by a few guys for that. Well if I dance several hours I prefer a smoke-free environment, and there enough zones on top where people could enjoy their smoke and could even sit next to them in the fresh air zones.

Otherwise all SUPER DUPER and very gay friendly you were bascially included no matter of your age and orientation. Heck, some people applauded me for my painted finger nails.

PS: Only one of the photos is from that location as when you enter you are asked to glue stickers over your camera for privacy. Which is allright.

I will be back as I loved it really, really, really a lot. Plus the prices for the drinks were...

This is one of the worst run venues I’ve ever been to. We went last night, every detail was bad. We reserved a table for 6, they gave us a table for 4, when we asked pointed this out to them they shrugged and said just steal someone else’s table and move if they show up and get mad. They only offer 1 beer option, as in no option. But, I only had 1 beer anyway, because after the first round the card reader no longer worked and the bar was cash only. The food was bad, expensive and even worse, we had to wait 30 minutes in line to order, then they took another 30 to make it. They literally only had 5 total things on the menu and one was fries - still an hour of waiting in your feet for food cause there is no table service. On top of all of this it is a pain to get there and only a sort of nice - but not really nice space. Would highly...

Um ca. 20:30 Uhr standen wir bei Fridas Tür um einen unterhaltsamen Abend zu verbringen.

Nach der Aufforderung zum Abkleben der Kamera sollte ich meine Tasche zeigen. Während der Kontrolle ist aufgefallen, dass noch 3 Flaschen aus meiner Tasche müssen. Soweit so normal.

Wir stellen uns vor den Eingang, machen die Flaschen leer und stellen diese weg. Zweiter Kontakt mit dem Sicherheitspersonal.

Ich frage ob meine Tasche noch kontrolliert werden muss. Die Dame aus dem Team bejaht diese Frage. Wir schaut rein und entdecken noch eine 0,5 l Flasche mit einem Schluck Wasser. Ein vorwurfsvoller Blick trifft mich. Daraufhin möchte ich mich äußern. Ist ja blöd gelaufen. Leider komme ich dazu nicht. Es baut sich ein kräftiger großer Herr vor mir auf. "WILLST DU UNS VERARSCHEN?", "SIE HAT DEUTSCH MIT DIR GESPROCHEN!". WENN DU DIE FLASCHE NICHT SOFORT WEGPACKST KOMMST DU HIER NIE WIEDER REIN".

Hm. Das hat mich durchaus eingeschüchtert und verunsichert. Ich habe die Flasche weggelegt und mich dafür entschieden nicht in euren Club reinzugehen. (Vielleicht auch nie wieder)

Aus meiner Sicht ist das Verhalten mir als (potentiellen) Gast gegenüber inakzeptabel und unverhältnismäßig. Besonders im Hinlick auf Fridas- Awarness-Kriterien sehe ich hier große Diskrepanzen. Statt Respekt habe ich Repektlosigkeit erlebt! Und es soll keine "physische Gewalt" vom Personal ausgehen. Daran habe ich gestern auch meine Zweifel gehabt.

Respekt und Awarness gelten aus meiner Sicht für den gesamten Club. Und die "Türe" gehört auch dazu.

Ein einfaches: "Die Flasche bitte wegstellen" hätte die Situation in einfacher Weise professionell gelöst. An die Türe gehören Leute die verhältnismäßig und professionell agieren. Das galt auch für 2 aus dem Türeteam. In Zeiten wie diesen umso wichtiger.

Folgendes vermute ich: das Konzept gestern war: Für 25 € ansche*ßen lassen... Fridas "Awarness"-Anforderungen sind reines Marketing (Social Washing). Im Security-Team ist jemand...
