Nice place. Chill atmosphere. Good food. We got even chefs compliments - potate with chicken, in general it was tasty, but potatoes are everywhere, seemed a bit too much. We took duck with sides. It was a huge portion so be careful. Not all of us ate everything. Salds came quite the time beforymain dish so we didn't understand how much to eat out of that so that we could finish all main course. Duck was tasty, well cooked, sides were tasty. Although I remember that potates were made as dumplings balls. In my opinion tasty, but that definitely is not for everyone. Other guy took stake which was juicy, seemed like medium cooked. Came with fried potatoes and extra gravy. He described it as really tasty dish. We didn't jmhave room for dessert so we just ate and left. Read moreThis is a really nice local place that I come to a lot. The linsen mit spätzle and schnitzel are excellent entrees, and I always get the maultaschen soup as a starter. Do yourself a favor and order the kaiserschmarrn for dessert, it's delicious. If you are not a German speaker this is a place that doesn't always have fluent English speaking employees, but they're all still nice and welcoming. Obviously it's not a criticism whatsoever that they don't speak much English here, I'm just letting the local American population know that if they are planning on having dinner here. Zwiebelrostbraten wurde geworben mit 250gr. Es sah etwas weniger aus. Fleisch war gut gebraten. medium. Zwiebel drauf. Aber die Soße. Schmeckte wie eine billige Tütensoße. Spätzle selbstgemacht. Tja.... Sie klebten so aneinander. Lecker ist anders. Sauerbraten: Ich würde sagen. Das war mal nix. Gleiches Problem mit den Spätzle. Fleisch okay. Aber die Soße ! Der war nicht lang genug eingelegt. Was lecker war das Cordon bleu mit Bratkartoffeln. Aber das ist Schwein und auch leichter zu machen. Fazit: Ich hab unseren Besuch in dieses Lokal geführt, wegen den guten Bewertungen. Kamen nicht aus dem Schwabenland und dann so was.....
