(Updated recently) my experience November 2022 : There are absolutely many things different about this sushi bar. I love the ingredients they used like caviar , lime slices and sprouts. And lotus!!!! It was a long time I didn’t eat lotus and suddenly i ate it here. The salmon sashimi set really worths it. And creamy sushi was very delightful. I really wish i could come here more often if the prices could be more flexible. They work only a few hours a day but they serve very energetic and strongly positive. The take away time is also very reasonable. I am really gonna miss this place when i get far from it one day. Also i love the silver splash of color on the main food stone dish. I don’t know how you found this material but it was so beautiful on the black dish. My experience October 2024 : the ratio between price and quantity of the food provided is sillily grown in a country that we hear the inflation is falling. It doesn’t make sense to me. Great food, authentic taste. Prices are very modest.

We had summer rolls for starters and the rice noodle bowl with beef and fried chicken with wok veggies and a peanuts sauce.

The summer rolls were on point, just like we remember them from our holidays.

The bowl was a delightful mix between wok veggies with beef, cold rice noodles and fresh greens. All very beautifully prepared, though the beef was a bit on the chewy side.

The chicken was tender and we'll done, unfortunately the batter was super coconutty and overshadowed most other flavors. Tasty...

Thai Viet war einmal eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Bad Cannstatt. Gestern, auf einem Sonntagnachmittag waren wir dort zu zweit und wurden total enttäuscht - sowohl vom Service als auch vom Essen. Wir nahmen draußen Platz und wurden dort wie andere vier Gäste ignoriert. Der Koch kam einmal raus, begrüßte alle und ging dann wieder. Keine Servicekraft zu sehen, auch nicht, nachdem wir uns die Speisekarte selbst holten. Also wechselten wir an einen Tisch im Restaurant. Dort waren wir die einzigen Besucher, trotzdem dauerte es ewig, bis wir bedient wurden. Wir bestellten 2x die traditionelle Pho-Suppe, ein Mal mit Rind, ein Mal mit Huhn. Wir bekamen dann jeweils eine mickrige Schüssel, die Brühe schmeckte nach nichts, keine Brühe, kein Gewürz, lediglich etwas Minze, kein Koriander. Das Fleisch ebenso mittelmäßig. Die Bedienung stellte uns Sriracha-Soße hin und meinte wir sollten halt nachwürzen. Als ich mich beschwerte, dass die Suppe nicht traditionell ist, ohne Gewürz, wurden Ausreden gesucht, dass die meisten Deutschen kein Koriander mögen und man daher auf die Gewürze verzichte. Man habe dafür ja bisschen Zwiebeln reingemacht… sehr enttäuschend, das war die schlechteste Pho meines Lebens und ich habe schon viele probiert. Als Ausgleich/Entschuldigung angeboten wurde uns nichts. Kartenzahlung auch 2023 noch immer nicht möglich… Die Gyoza zur Vorspeise waren okay und meine Besuche Monate zuvor auch, daher 2 Sterne. Werde es irgendwann nochmal versuchen, aber derzeit bin ich...
