Zur goldenen Möwe — Restaurant in Sylt

After a long hike in cool weather, we ended our weekend on Sylt at this spot, and it was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful weekend. The place is located on the beachfront promenade and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you step inside to the warmth and secure one of the few seats in the restaurant, you’ll discover that this place is truly special.

The staff are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is exceptionally cozy, and the food is in a league of its own. We had read about the delicious focaccias served here, and the rumors are true—they are absolutely fantastic. In fact, we’ve never had sandwiches or focaccias this good! We tried the focaccias with duck and salmon, and they were amazing.

Beyond the food, we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy, family-like ambiance of the place and the beautiful sunset over the sea before we, unfortunately, had to leave the restaurant and Sylt...

Das Personal sollte etwas umsichtiger auf die Gäste zugehen…Die Wartezeit bis etwas bestellt werden kann an den Außentischen dauert einfach zu lange. Oder Schilder für Selbstbedienung aufstellen…. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich sind ein Sammelsurium von unbequemen Sitzplätzen…Keine Sitzkissen, keine Decken und Tische welche so niedrig sind, dass man Bauchschmerzen bekommt.

Draußen fehlen mindestens 8 lange Tische mit Barhocker. Weinangebote 0,2ml für 5,50-6,50€ und ein mit sehr gutem Verhältnis gemixter Aperol für 7,50€ dies alles würde das tolle Konzept der goldenen Möwe mit Gästen überschwemmen!!
