Il Calabrese — Restaurant in Torgau

These were the most disgusting spaghetti Carbonara in my life. They were floating int cheap oil and were mixed with crumbled eggs (probably made the pevious day and just put into this mixture). My friends ordered other spaghetti and all of them were too oily and made not acvoriding to original recipes (not even close to them). Definitely the cook should be changed. There is nothing related with the Mediterranean food in this place. Despite the bad food, the service was also very bad. When we sit on the table there were still used glasses and napkins from the previous people and we waited for more than 15 minutes for somebody to take those things. The waiter didn't even give us a menu, we had to find it by ourselves. Like a bonus, there was a used face mask laying down at the center of the floor during all our whole stay and everybody was stepping on top of it but nobody picked it up. I guess the mask is still there and bothering nobody. Complete laziness and careless. Does not recommend this place to anybody. Complete waste of...

Where to start?

Good: The stuffed mushroom on the starter. It was possible to stuff the crust of the calzone with cheese.

Less good: Painfully slow service. Starter: omelet on the starter was outright gross. meatball barely edible (hard as a rock). Main: pasta (frutti di mare) overcooked. (at least if your service is this slow, make sure its al dente when it reaches the table), 'sea fruits' burnt, and pieces of shell in the food. way over salted. don't get the stuffed crust on pizza's, you're throwing away money. other than salt no basil or oregano on the pizza, leaving it rather bland. Wir waren dienstags zu 5 Personen vor Ort. Das Personal ist freundlich und kinderlieb.

Ambiente: Das Ambiente ist okay, meine Meinung nach wäre mal eine Renovierung sinnvoll. Die Tische stehen recht dicht, das ist etwas unangenehm.

Essen: wir hatten 3 Nudelgerichte, eine Pizza, Kindergericht. Zu letzterem gibt es nicht viel zu sagen, das Kind aß und meckerte nicht. Die Nudel Gerichte waren für einen Auflauf sehr wässrig und ob meinen Augen schlecht gewürzt. Selbst mit Salz und Pfeffer konnte ich dem Essen nichts mehr groß an Geschmack abgewinnen. Die Pizza war gut, mit richtig guten Käaserand, diese würden wir auch wieder bestellen.

Service: schon das platzieren viel schwer, da man sich nur zögerlich hinter den Tresen vor bewegte um und unseren Tisch zu zeigen. Nach über 5 Minuten konnten wir dann Getränke bestellen. Von 4 Getränken wurde eines vergessen, also bestellten wir nach. Nach gut 10 Minuten hatten dann alle etwas zu trinken. Wir bestellten die Vorspeisen und Hauptgericht, welche (Vorspeise) ebenfalls deutlich über 15 Minuten benötigten (Kaltspeisen), um das anschließend noch gute 25-30 Minuten vergingen bis wir unsere Hauptgerichte hatten. Noch einmal Getränke nach bestellen dauerte ebenfalls ewig. Als diese dann da waren, wollten wir eigentlich bereits gehen.
