It was a very easy menu to choose from, love that idea. Quick service and no complications. We came at 4pm and apparently everyone came to lunch at the same time so we had no where to sit with baby. But the staff were nice. However, I did notice they do table reservations. For such a small restaurant with high customer turnover, I don't think reservations are necessary. The whole time we were waiting for a table, was the whole time that one table was reserved. 4 tables opened up and that one table was still reserved. Food wise, it was really good and delicious. Best ramen in the area!! Would come here again for a ramen craving. One star down for reservation and one more for no baby chair. They keep saying sorry for having no baby chair but have been months and we visit again, still no baby chair. What a shame.... Something as simple as at least one baby chair wouldn't cost the place a bomb to get. Editing: it's been 4 years since we visited and 4 years still no baby chair but they have children's chopsticks and toys upstairs. They changed their menu to a weird more complicated piece of black and white paper. This time we learnt to make a reservation and seen many people turned away for lack of high turnover rate. Problem hasn't solved for 4 years...

The place is a small ramen shop with a really good atmosphere. The waiter (guy with glasses) was extremely friendly despite the fact we came short before closing (we would have been happy to return another day if we were too late, mind). We had a shoyu (pork) and a spicy ramen (minced beef). The presentation of the bowls was pretty, at least. The shoyu ramen smelled like old piss, which turned out to be coming from the bamboo shoots. The rest of the soup was okay after moving the shoots. The spicy soup almost didn't have any meat in it and my partner also mentioned a weird aftertaste, like old oil. We mentioned this to the staff, to which the answer was "they don't like the bamboo either". Sadly, both my partner and I have been sick for the past two days since we ate here. This would be such a nice little place if they paid attention to the ingredients. The service and the polite guy gets the stars, but we do not recommend...

OMG!The BEST RAMEN everrrrr! I have never had such good ramen for a long time now! This little place in trier is a gem. We got super lucky to get a table without reservation but please do reserve as I saw myself around 6 groups go back due to the restaurant being fully booked! The Ramen is very good, spicy miso broth is perfect for this chilly weather! Relished til the last spoon of soup! The prices of course are very reasonable when compared to Luxembourg! The quantity is huge.So next time when you are in trier don’t miss this place at any cost 😁😁 thank me later!

PS: a little tip as soon as your arrive to trier book this place then go shopping, get hungry and eat here or call them...

Not the best Japanese restaurant ever, but the package was more than just ok. What makes this place special is that it is run by former students of University of Trier. They offer a good bowl or Ramen at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and happy to provide guidance on what to pick. The food toasted good, but it wasn‘t great. The restaurant itself is quite small and they combined what appears to have been separate restaurants. This was quite funny too, because in order to get our drinks one of the waiters left the other place through the front door, walked the four steps in the pedestrian one and come through the front door of the other part. Efficiency, the German-Japanese way ;)
