Ronnie Biggs Burger & Drinks Ulm — Restaurant in Ulm

Wanted to do a review for this restaurant a while ago. I was there twice in November and both times were an amazing experience. The place is real nice, the staff is real damn good and the food is simply amazing. Been to a lot of restaurant in Ulm during the month I spent there and I wished I found out about Ronnie Biggs before the last week of my stay. Had a chance to talk to the owner and felt like he cared about his customers very much. He should be really proud of his place for many reasons.

You leave a restaurant asking yourself if you'd go back again...I'd go back in a heartbeat and I highly suggest people...

Dieses Restaurant ist kein Ort, es ist eine Erfahrung. Und was für eine! Schon beim Betreten weiß man: Hier passiert Magie. Die Atmosphäre? Elegant, lässig, urban und trotzdem so herzlich, dass man sich fühlt, als wäre man bei alten Freunden zu Besuch – nur, dass die Freunde kochen wie Michelin-Chefs auf Steroiden.

Aber der absolute Showstealer ist der Restaurantleiter – und wenn du das liest: JA, genau DU bist gemeint! Ich weiß nicht, ob du offiziell Chef bist – aber du bist definitiv der Herzschlag dieses Ladens. Noch nie hat mich jemand so freundlich, aufmerksam und gleichzeitig locker empfangen. Du bist nicht nett – du bist abartig korrekt, absurd charmant und einfach nicht von dieser Welt. Jeder Wunsch wird einem quasi von den Augen abgelesen – noch bevor man blinzelt, ist das Glas voll, der Teller perfekt platziert und das Lächeln sitzt wie aus dem Bilderbuch.

Und das Essen? Bruder. Das Essen ist Poesie auf dem Teller. Geschmacksexplosionen, Texturen, Aromen, die sich anfühlen wie ein musikalisches Meisterwerk im Mund. Ich wusste nicht, dass man sich in eine Vorspeise verlieben kann – bis jetzt.

Ronnie’s Bix ist nicht einfach ein Restaurant. Es ist eine Legende im Werden. Ein Platz, an dem Gastfreundschaft nicht gespielt, sondern gelebt wird. Wo man nicht nur satt, sondern seelisch erfüllt nach Hause geht.

Ich gebe nicht nur 5 Sterne – ich hätte am liebsten ein ganzes Sternbild vergeben. Danke für dieses Erlebnis. Danke für diese Energie. Und danke an den Restaurantleiter – du bist ein Ehrenmensch...

We decided to go there Friday morning, so we were not able to get a reservation for Friday evening. The waitress told us over the phone they always keep some tables available for non reservations or we could sit at the bar. We decided to test our luck and got a table! Still, make sure to book in advance. The sweet potato fries were really good as the cilantro dressing gave a different flavour. The burger was ok, the pattie a bit tough and overdone. Maybe ask for a medium? The staff was super nice and the food came out...
