During our road trip from France to Germany, we stayed in Goppingen and discovered this very good restaurant. We tasted there the local specility with beef joint and spätzles. The beer at 1L was the best choice to enjoy such a meal. The waitress, was very friendly. She gave us some advise about the local dishes. In connection with the atmosphere of the place, she was wearing a pretty Swabian dress that suited her very well. We have a good discussion and she advised us on where to go for cocktails afterwards. Hello from Goeppingen. The on traditional restaurant that was open:that's fine... But the Covid19 does not help the situation. Without reservation, only the terrace is accessible ... But without heating, except that of the beer tap. I took a burger with fries, but unfortunately the salt was a little too present between the meat, the (frozen) fries and the bacon. Otherwise the rations are generous and the service friendly in typical clothes, ie leather shorts and suspenders.
