Horrible service! We arrived when it was pretty busy and were told to wait at the bar. As we were waiting, the waitress asked if we wanted to eat our food at the bar. We declined and told her we were patient and would wait until there was a free table. She was very annoyed. When we finally got a table, the food arrived pretty quickly and was okay. However when we wanted to pay, another waitress told us we could not pay by card because the machine was broken. We insisted on paying by card because we saw other people do so. Eventually we paid by card (yes, the machine did work), but the waitress was extremely rude. Don't go here if you want to be treated like idiots because...

I had the Jägerschnitzel with Bratkartoffel and boy, they really nail the local cuisine. It had been hard to find Bratkartoffel since I have been in Germany this time. Everyone seems to have spätzle and french fries and maybe Kroketten but this is the first time I was able to find the Bratkartoffel. The brewery beer is of course fresh and delicious. There’s really nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Beer, food, and staff are all great! I’ve been here many times before and I will be back many times...

Visited September 2021 on a Saturday evening. Place didn’t feel too busy but they were turning people without reservations away the whole time - so book ahead! We had the Swabian platter which was really delicious and felt like good value. Huge pile of spätzle, Bratkartoffeln, and sauerkraut topped with maultaschen and meats.
