Cafe Jats — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bad Wildbad

The waitress does not speak any English and was bad tempered from the beginning. She asked us for a COVID proof in a most impatient way. We showed our international QR code, but she couldn’t read the English text and sort of imploded. Then she demanded that our children who are clearly under 12 showed a certificate that there are going to school. Please just put a sign on the door that this place is not inclusive for foreigners.

Furthermore I can imagine that if you lack basic knowledge of English and you need to monitor the COVID rules it is hard, but don’t take it out on your customers. We complied to all the rules. Wir haben es ganz zufällig gefunden. Wir waren in der nähe von Bad Wildbad und wollten Cafe trinken und ich habs gegoogelt... ich muss aber sagen, ich bin nicht ganz sicher...Ich habe 5 Stars gegeben, obwohl ich lange überlegt habe ob ich 4 oder 5 Stars gebe. Die Atmosphere, das Cafe an sich, der Kuchen - absolut göttlich!!!! - alles war wirklich, wirklich super! Aber die Bedienung....als wir rein kamen - kein Guten Tag, kein Hallo, nicht mal angeschaut haben sie uns. Obwohl wir, natürlich, hallo gesagt haben - KEINE antwort bekommen. Ja, die hatten zu tun, aber das Cafe ist so klein, es ist einfach unmöglich nicht mitzukriegen, dass jemand rein gekommen ist....auf der andere Seite, als die zu uns gekommen ist, um uns zu fragen, was wir gerne hätten - dann war sie schon sehr nett.... also da weiss ich nicht.... eigentlich sollten es 4 Stars werden, aber alles andere war einfach so unerwartet und so ...absolut das richtige für ein grauen(haften), kalten Herbsttag. Der Kuche hat auch absolut prima geschmeckt! Richtig toll!

Romana: Cea mai neasteptata descoperire din toamna asta. O cafenea absolut fantastica. Atmosfera, cafeaua, tortul - absolut fantastic. E o cafenea extrem de mica. Dar absolut merita vizitata daca sunteti prin apropriere. Prajiturile - proaspete. Cred ca aveai vreo 7-8 Prajituri sa-ti alegi. Eu mi-am ales cu coacaza rosie, si a fost mega bun. Chiar si cafeaua a fost foarte buna. Exact ce aveam nevoie intr-o zi innourata, intunecata si rece de toamna. Recomand absolut. Chelneritele - nu stiu....poate ar fi trebui sa dau doar 4 stele din cauza chelneritelor. Cand am intrat - nici nu ne-au salutat (ce nu prea e tipic pentru Baden), si e imposibil sa nu observi cand intra cineva, fiindca cafeneaua e foarte mica. Si noi ne-am salutat, dar n-am primit nici un raspuns....cu toate ca, atunci cand ne-am asezat la masa, si a venit chelnerita la noi, a fost foarte amabila...asa ca nu stiu...cam straniu....dar tot restul a fost exact ce am avut nevoie, de aceea am dat 5 stele si recomand...

We had a terrible experience. The waitress made us feel really unwanted. She was even nasty towards our children. In a tiny place like this you expect a nice person, but she filled the room with hostility.
