Restaurant Pizzeria - Toscana Due — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bad Wildbad

I came here after a day in the thermes with my boyfriend. He came years ago (in 2020) in this restaurant and had a very good memory of it so we went there for dinner. We were seated very fast because we waved at a waitress that was standing in the entrance and indicated her that we wanted to sit at the terrace. She nodded but did not indicate any table to us. We sat on a table that was close to the river for the view but the table cloth was quite dirty (all tables were in the same state). We received the menu that was only in German from another waitress. When we were checking what to order another waitress came to the table to put a small lamp on it (it was not dark yet) which made me jump a bit due to the surprise but she did not apologize. The second waitress came back to take our order and started laughing at us when we tried to put our order because we were not speaking German. She did not try to help us or to make us feel comfortable when ordering. We got our food and drinks quite fast but from 2 other waiters. When we were done eating, the second waitress came to take our plates but did not ask us about dessert or anything else. We thought it was because we still had our drinks and waited. After around 10min, we waved at the group of waiters (around 4) that were standing in the entrance of the restaurant to request the dessert menu. The second waitress saw us, started laughing and pushed another waitress to us who clearly did not want to come to us. She was very uncomfortable when we asked her for the dessert menu but brought it to us. Around 15min after receiving the menu, we tried to catch the attention of one of the waiters (still around 4 standing and chatting in the entrance of the restaurant) but they either ignored us or avoided looking in our direction. We got annoyed 10min later and just went inside to pay. The waiter that was at the bar asked us what we ordered and we did not understand directly what he meant so he started acting rudely while we were trying to answer him. We did not know the names of the dishes and pointed to our table, he seemed annoyed and started giving us the menu to show him what we took. We could've said anything and it would've passed but we are honest and gave the correct order, in afterthought we should not have done that... The only good point here is the location of the tables alongside the river. The food is not bad but being ignored, laughed at and receiving condescending looks kills any good opinion of this place. Needless to say that we will not be coming back and we don't recommend...

I've never seen this before : the perfect combination if great food , great location and great service . We actually found it by accident , a rainy Sunday and a lot of hunger . We had a small child with us, and as we patiently waited to be seated , it took a couple of minutes for someone to bring a baby chair to us (it was disinfected as well ). After that the service was attentive to our child as well as with us even though our son is to small to eat anything yet . Our service was friendly and patient and she didn't seem to be bothered that our son made a mess (I apologise again for that ) The food was exquisite : The appetizer was a combination of everything we could have wished for , plated in a way that made one hungrier than he'd already been .

Dorade mit Spaghetti , Lachs und Fleisch... it was a delight . Well prepared and the plating was obviously made with great care and patience . And the taste made me miss Italy. It was a great place to be, and we could even see the train passing by ! We were very pleased and hope to get the chance to eat there again soon . Thank you again to the wonderful team there , and the cook ! By the way , The Hugo is one of the best in a 50 km area and believe me , I try Hugo everywhere because even if it is one of the most simple drinks no one cares enough to make it perfecty - it tasted great !

Martini is served at the right temperature in the right glass ( something people tend to forget- there is a Martini Glass ) and with a nice glass sugar coating .

Restaurant Pizzeria - Toscana Due promised an authentic Italian experience, but sadly, it fell far short of expectations. The pizza was disappointingly mediocre. The base was excessively thick and doughy, while the sauce was sparse, lacking the rich flavors one would anticipate. To make matters worse, the pepper and onion toppings were practically raw, adding an unpleasant crunch to each bite.

However, the most frustrating part of our dining experience was when, halfway through our meal, the staff asked us to move tables. Apparently, a larger party had arrived, and they wanted to combine our table with others to accommodate them. This disruption was not only inconvenient but also created an uncomfortable and rushed atmosphere.

While the staff were generally polite, the subpar food and disruptive seating arrangement left a negative impression. There are plenty of other pizzerias in the area that offer a more enjoyable and authentic Italian...
