Phoenix Coffee — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bruchsal

The only of a kind place in Germany! Amazing young atmosphere, wi-fi, clean bathrooms, not too hot in summer. The service is very fast and the food is exquisitely tasty!!Good coffee!!! Free water for customers!!! Dogs are allowed, which is amazing!!! One can sit there in peace with a laptop and work and nobody will approach and ask 300 times if you are ok. In the same time one can grab a fast snack to go and leave within 5 minutes. The place is usually overbooked, so it’s better to book in advance. WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF IT WOULD OPEN IN OTHER CITIES (more branches), if it would be open on Sunday and a bit later in the evening :) (it’s hard to get there after...

The mocha frappe was really good, the sub too. The staff is very kind and they give you everything really fast. It is so noisy if you want to eat there because there is always people coming in to order to take out, and I couldn’t work there as I planned cause the “internet connection was not working at the time”. There was music but you couldn’t hear it because of the amount of people there talking.

I would definitely come back whenever I don’t want to work and I’m just interested in chatting out loud...

Ich kenne das Phoenix Café noch aus deren Kindheitstagen....als das Café nur eine kleine Theke war und es auch so gut wie keine Tische zum sitzen gab.

Jetzt über 10 Jahre später sieht das hier ganz anders aus. Der Laden ist rießig geworden. Die Produkte sind aber noch wie früher. Das Angebot ist aber deutlich gewachsen. Für mich ist das deswegen auch pure Nostalgie.

Im Phoenix gibt es einen eingeschränkten Service. Bestellt wurde schon immer an der Theke. Die Getränke werden mittlerweile aber an den Platz gebracht, abgeräumt wird auch vom Service, aber die Geschirrrückgabebehälter sind noch da, was mich vermuten lässt, dass das nicht zu den Hauptaufgaben vom Service zählt. Die Folge von diesem System ist, dass es manchmal ein paar Tische nicht abgeräumt hinterlassen bzw vorgefunden werden. Ich kann dem Service deswegen nur 3 Sterne geben, weil es kein klassischer Service ist, sondern eben nur eingeschränkter Service. Das ist aber auch motzen auf höchstem Niveau.

Das Café ist super und für mich immer noch einen Besuch wert, weil es über eine extrem lange Zeit einen hohen Qualitätsstandard bei seinem Essen bzw. seinem Kaffee gehalten hat. Mir zeigt das Vorallem eines: Diejenigen, die den Laden eröffnet und groß gemacht haben lieben ihren Job und umgekehrt liebt Bruchsal das Phoenix Café. Zumindest erklärt das die vielen...
