Would not recommend. After eating out all weekend, Italian, German etc, we decided to try out this Greek restaurant right next to the walkway to the Tower. Unfortunately we were all very disappointed. The food was okay, it wasn't amazing. It was the service that will ensure we never return again on our regular visits to Friedrichshafen. Unfriendly waiter, moody and acted like we were a nuisance to him. We waited over 30 mins to get a drink. We tried to move table but were told very rudly that we can't order a drink and then move table because he wouldn't know where we are.....hmmmm. When we ordered, we watched other people that arrived after us get their food and eat it. We asked the waiter and we were told they are busy, no apology. Took over an hour to get our food then one dish was missing. It eventually came without an apology. We suspect he did it on purpose. When it came to paying, this waiter informed us the bill doesn't include a tip, so he didn’t get a tip. Tips are earned in the service! As a side note, if you are eating here, they charge for tomato sauce and if you want to have chips instead of rice, they charge extra for that too, its on the menu. As far as I'm aware the majority of restaurants will do this free of charge and its not a problem. If you are looking for a nice experience, avoid this place and go to the amazing Italian a bit further along the front, they have...

Not the very best experience overall.

We wanted to try this restaurant, since a long time - and finally got the chance and went.

Service isn't the most professional and friendly, when it comes to their duties. We didn't like the guest approach - overall five (!) - different waiters served us, all of them dressed differently in casual style. Smoking and drinking coffee, on the very next table.

My order was on an average okay. We wondered, why there was five (!) turkey steaks on the plate, cold fries and tomato rice, which I had never ordered? My friend got his gyros with a medium amount of aluminum foil in his plate 🍽. We claimed it and his food taken off the bill, in the end. The explanation was: a new kitchen, a busy day with over 700 guests... and so on.. It shouldn't have happened, either way.

Overall we wouldn't recommend this place, because of lack of attention towards the customer, the food experience with aluminum foil and in general we didn't feel welcomed at all.

Für die Lage des Restaurants direkt an der Uferpromenade und damit direkt am Bodensee gibt es natürlich die volle Punktzahl. Allerdings muss es für das Essen und den Service drastische Punktabzüge geben. Was wir an einem Samstag im April 2018 erlebt haben, sei in Auszügen wie folgt zusammengefasst: Unaufmerksamer Kellner, der es nicht schafft, alle bestellten Getränke zu bringen, weder in der ersten noch in der letzten Runde und es auch nicht für notwendig hält, nach einem Blick auf den mit schmutzigem Geschirr vollgestopften Tisch für Abhilfe zu sorgen, sondern lieber mit leeren Händen zum Restaurant zurück läuft und das gleich mehrmals. Bei zwei am Tisch georderten Burger-Gerichten war das Fleisch in der Mitte noch roh , was bei Hackfleisch kein Vorteil sein muss. Die vom Restaurant "Steak-Pommes" genannten Kartoffelstreifen, die man auch gut zählen konnte, beinhalteten noch die Kartoffelschale. Kann man mögen, muss man aber nicht. Die Mayonnaise kam in einem kleinen Marmeladengläschen, was aber auch schon in einem Fall beschädigt war. Den Caesars Salad hätte Cäsar besser nicht gesehen: Eigentlich wird er mit frischen (!) Romana-Salat-Blättern gemacht, freut sich über in Knoblauch geröstete Croutons und ist mit Parmesanschnipseln übersät. Davon war das Gelieferte aber weit entfernt. Salat war platt, Parmesan musste man suchen, geschmacklich eine Null-Nummer. Der absolute Tiefpunkt war ein Schnitzel, welches mit Pommes und Möhren-Schnipseln geliefert wurde. Sah aus wie fertig panierte aufgetaute Convenience-Ware mit an Einfallslosigkeit nur schwer zu überbietender Beilage. Das Essen für eine überschaubare Runde kam natürlich auch nicht gleichzeitig, sondern ein Essen kam erst, nachdem zwei andere Esser ihren Hauptgang schon aufgegessen hatten. Das man mehrmals nach der Möglichkeit zum Bezahlen fragen musste, rundete das Erlebnis genauso ab wie die teilnahmslose Hinnahme von Kritik am Essen, die weder mit einer Entschuldigung, noch einem Preisnachlass oder auch nur einem Gratis-Kaffee quittiert wurde. Wer erwartet, dass man hier jeden Gast nur einmal braucht, ist hier richtig. So zumindest unser Erlebnis. Ob die Kartoffelstreifen, die hier Pommes genannt werden, der neuen Acrylamid-Verordnung entsprechen, darf angesichts der Farbe der trotzdem latschigen Streifen...
