I visited the restaurant yesterday with my family, to be honest we were hungry, and this restaurant was exactly what we wanted! The food was more than wonderful, all the Syrian dishes were the same as they are known in Damascus (No shawarma though ☹️). The staff was more than wonderful, friendly and very helpful even when they were overwhelmed by the number of customers! To be clear, the place was not the best. For one reason or another, the indoor restaurant was closed, so we had to eat in the outdoor seating, which was not very comfortable, in addition to the difficulty of moving between the tables and inside the restaurant to go to the bathroom. We went there a bit early on a Saturday evening (17:45ish) for dinner after reading good reviews about the place on Google. And we really loved the food. We ordered the stuffed vine leaves, spicy potato, chicken mandi and lamb horani. We also tried their special pomegranate and sprite drink. Eine Geschmacksexplosion aus Tausendundeiner Nacht – absolut empfehlenswert!

Selten habe ich ein Restaurant besucht, das mich auf so vielen Ebenen überzeugt hat wie dieses orientalische Juwel. Schon beim Betreten umfängt einen der betörende Duft von Gewürzen und frisch zubereiteten Speisen – ein Vorgeschmack auf das, was kommt. Die Atmosphäre ist warm, einladend und mit liebevollen Details dekoriert, sodass man sich sofort wie im Urlaub fühlt.

Die Speisekarte ist eine Reise durch die Vielfalt der orientalischen Küche. Alles war nicht nur wunderschön angerichtet, sondern geschmacklich ein absolutes Highlight. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hausgemachte Hummus – cremig, fein gewürzt und einfach himmlisch.

Auch der Service war top: herzlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht und gearbeitet wird.
