Terrible hot chocolate. It was watery and had very little chocolate taste. The cakes I tried were also very dry. The first was a chocolate truffle cake with raspberries - sounds like it would be delicious but the cake part was dry, the chocolate mousse type layer lacked flavour and there weren't many raspberries in the slice. I thought they could redeem themselves with the raspberry cheesecake with chocolate biscuit base. It was disappointing - very lacklustre. I would not recommend this place at all and don't know how this cafe received so many stars.

We had two pretty good coffes there. As we don't speak German too much, I wanted to make sure that we don't speak different things, so I asked the waitress if she speaks English or French. She got a bad attitude: not a smile, not a hello, not a " bon appetite!" or " enjoy!". When I ordered in German an espresso and an espresso macchiato, the waitress took an apostrophizing attitude and ask me (in German, that I understand and speak a little) if I want espresso or a macchiato. Stranieri alla larga! Questo è sembrato l'atteggiamento visibilmente maleducato della cameriera. Ambiente bello ma un po' datato ( come le cameriere). Il cibo sembra appetitoso, ma non abbiamo preso nulla, perché quando si viene trattati male i soldi si vanno a spendere da un'altra parte. I bambini si erano scelti tre pezzi di torta e noi due espressi (€ 3,60 l'uno!), abbiamo atteso di diventare visibili al bancone ( vuoto di clienti), finché non è giunta una signora tedesca a cui è stata subito prestata la dovuta attenzione. La signora ha gentilmente fatto notare alla cameriera che c'eravamo prima noi, e lei ha risposto in tedesco "loro aspettano". Abbiamo risposto in inglese alla cameriera che aspettavo volentieri ma che c'eravamo prima noi. "Un momento" ci ha detto, ovviamente in tedesco( ritengo che la cameriera sia una di quelle persone che capiscono l'inglese ma ti rispondono in tedesco per farti capire quanto sei stupido a non parlare la loro lingua). La signora tedesca ha avuto subito la sua ordinazione, a noi è stato chiesto di sederci e aspettare la cameriera al tavolo. Abbiamo sopportato per i bambini che volevano il dolce e le abbiamo detto che ci saremmo seduti fuori. Dopo qualche minuto sono rientrata per rivedere i dolci e la cameriera stava prendendo le ordinazioni di chi era venuto dopo di noi. Mi è dispiaciuto per i bambini, ma quando è troppo... siamo andati via, ma per curiosità ho atteso altri 5 minuti sulla strada, nessuno è uscito per le ordinazioni...
