This restaurant came highly recommended so we had to try it while on a holiday in Germany. I absolutely love Greek food and was very excited to try this new place. Unfortunately I didn’t love the experience. The waitress which I believe to be the manager didn’t seem to be very stress resistant and came across quite passive aggressive. She was snappy with a smile if that makes sense. She made most of us quite uncomfortable. We were a big group of people with a booking. The food tasted ok and was presented well. The portions are tiny and quite pricey for what they are. There is no kids menu. I assume this restaurant is aiming to be a fine dining experience but it couldn’t quite get there. The standout dish at Filosofia was the meat 🍖 stuffed with feta cheese 🧀. What impressed me the most was that despite the combination of meat and cheese, the dish was surprisingly light and not overly heavy. Also, served with salad. 🥗

Unfortunate, they didn't have my favorite Greek dessert, Loukoumades, available during my visit, it did not diminish the experience and still deserves a five-star rating.

Meine Frau, unsere elf Monate alte Tochter, mein Schwiegervater und seine Frau waren am 09.04.2025 zum Abendessen im Filosofia (zum Löwen). Mit vorheriger Reservierung haben wir einen schönen Tisch mitsamt einem Kinderstuhl zugewiesen bekommen. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war griechisch geprägt, aber stilvoll eingerichtet. Man sich gleich wohlgefühlt im Ambiente. Die Toiletten des Restaurant waren sehr schön anzusehen und sehr sauber. Meine Frau hatte das Zanderfilet, die Frau meines Schwiegervaters hatte die Scampi, mein Schwiegervater hatte das Gyros und ich die Suzukakia (das Hackfleisch). Alle Gerichte waren sehr ansprechend angerichtet und sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und auch die verschiedenen Vorspeisen (Pita, gemahlene Oliven, Ziegenkäse) waren sehr lecker. Die ausgewählten Weine meines Schwiegervaters und seiner Frau waren auch passend zum Essen und sehr lecker. Insgesamt war es ein tolles Erlebnis in diesem sehr schönen Restaurant zu essen. Auch die Tatsache, dass wir mit einem kleinen Kind zu Besuch waren, hat niemanden der Gäste und Mitarbeiter gestört. Auch der anwesende Hund hat niemanden gestört und hat seinen Wassernapf bekommen und durfte im Restaurant verweilen.
