Räuber Kaffee — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Titisee-Neustadt

I was there with a group of friends, we specifically went for the homemade cakes for which the place seems to be exceptionally famous for. We were jovially greeted by the waitress who invited us to our table. We ordered cakes and everything was fine until we got to order the drinks, I was the only one getting a cappuccino, and immediately the waitress behaviour changed, confused that we were not all ordering drinks and stressing out that that's how they run the shop and manage to survive...after paying, she launched herself again in a lecture about why is it so and so, everything homemade, quality materials etc, making us even more uncomfortable...all reasonable but wouldn't it have been better to simply write a sign outside saying for example "food only with drinks, we aks for your understanding", and it would have avoided a weird conversation. Pity, everything was great until...

There were 3 workers there , first one was the young lady and she was very welcoming specially when she knew that we are tourists . Also to the accounting lady she was kind. But my issue there was with the old lady there she was very rude and disrespectful specially when she knew that we don’t speak Deutsch ! Ich empfehle diesen Ort für einen Kaffee und Kuchen. Drinnen fühlt man sich wie in seinem eigenen Wohnzimmer, draussen gibt es auch schöne Sitzgelegenheiten.

Täglich frische hausgemachte Kuchen wie Erdbeerkäsekuchen, Apfelkuchen und so weiter. Wir hatten die klassische Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte und er war sehr lecker. Der Kaffee war köstlich und sie haben Hafermilch. Die Preise sind gut.

Fragen Sie nicht nach zusätzlichen Gabeln, um den Kuchen zu teilen. Die Besitzer reagieren nicht gut auf diese Anfrage. Nehmen sie die Kaffelöffeli und geniessen sie einen Kuchen auch zu Zweit.

I recommend this place for a coffee and cake. Inside you feel like in your own living room, outside is nice seating as well. Daily fresh homemade cakes like strawberry cheesecake, apple pie and so on. We had the classic Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte and it was tasty. Coffee was lovely and they have oatmilk. Prices are good. Don't ask for extra forks that you can share the cake as they prefer not to do this. Simply use your coffee spoons and enjoy.

Je recommande cet endroit pour un café et un gâteau. À l'intérieur, on se sent comme chez soi, et il y a aussi de belles places assises à l'extérieur.

Des gâteaux frais faits maison tous les jours, comme le gâteau au fromage aux fraises, le gâteau aux pommes, etc. Nous avons pris le classique gâteau Forêt-Noire et il était délicieux. Le café était délicieux et ils ont du lait d'avoine. Les prix sont raisonnables.

Ne demandez pas de fourchettes supplémentaires pour partager le gâteau, car les propriétaires ne répondent pas favorablement à cette demande. Utilisez simplement vos cuillères à café et profitez du...
