Restaurant Rheinterrasse Santorini — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Waldshut-Tiengen

This is a Greek restaurant without Greeks in it and I’m almost sure that chef isn’t Greek as well. Mousaka is a traditional Greek plate that if you don’t know the secrets how to make it, is better to not serve it at all. Potatoes and especially the aubergines need to fry them and then to remove the oil they suck completely, or the ones who will eat it, will be sick, especially if the oil is at a low quality. The „low oily“ style should be followed also in the mince. This Mousaka gave me a feeling that was swimming in oil. The tomato in the sauce was too much and overall was the worst Mousaka I had ever. I wander, the chef doesn’t taste it? Or there is no chef and you buy them in cans or something? But not only Mousaka was bad. The tzatziki was tasting like low cost ready-made and very bad as well, the meat was dry, and no matter how hard I can try to say something good, I have to say only that I’m completely disappointed. It was my first and last time of course. I thought I found a place who offers home-made style Greek plates and more things than meat (because if i wanted only meat their competition offers it in top quality and better prices), but it was a bad choice to go there.

I wasn’t about to make this post, if the lady (probably the owner), had the professionalism to ask why we didn’t eat their food. Especially myself I’m fat enough and people like me ordering usually a second plate. They don’t eat like birds as we say in Greece. She understood that we were unhappy, but she didn’t reacted, probably because she knew what...

Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant nicht, weil das Essen lausig ist, es heißt, es gibt griechisches, italienisches und deutsches Essen. Auf der italienischen Speisekarte verkauft er nur Spaghetti la co. Griechisches Ida ist schlecht, Produkte von schlechter Qualität und Präsentation des Gerichts wie in einem Straßenrestaurant, der schreckliche Geschmack hat nichts mit dem außergewöhnlichen Essen Griechenlands zu tun. Der Service war schlecht, eine gestresste Kellnerin behandelte uns wie Tiere und es dauerte lange, bis die Getränke ankamen, da ist nichts Besonderes! Wenn Sie gut essen oder genießen möchten, ist dies nicht der richtige Ort, ich empfehle es überhaupt nicht!

I don't recommend this restaurant because the food is lousy, it says it has Greek Italian and German food. What he sells on the Italian menu is only spaghetti la co. Greek Ida is bad, poor quality products and presentation of the dish like a street restaurant, the terrible taste has nothing to do with the extraordinary food of Greece. The service was bad, a stressed waitress treated us like we were animals and the drinks took a long time to arrive, there is nothing special there! If you want to go to enjoy or eat well, it is not the right place, I do not recommend it at all!

No recomiendo este restaurante porque la comida es pésima, dice que tiene comida griega italiana y alemana. Lo que vende en el menú italiano solo son espaguetis la co. Ida griega es mala, productos de mala calidad y presentación del plato como de restaurante de la calle, el sabor pesimo nada que ver con la extraordinaria comida de Grecia. El servicio fue malo de una mesera estresada nos atendio como si fueramos animales y las bebidas tardaron mucho en llegar, no hay nada de especial alli! Si quieren ir a disfrutar o comer bien, no es el lugar indicado, no lo recomiendo para nada!!!!

Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant car la nourriture est moche, il est dit qu'il propose des plats grecs, italiens et allemands. Ce qu'il vend sur le menu italien, ce n'est que des spaghettis la co. Greek Ida est mauvais, produits de mauvaise qualité et présentation du plat comme un restaurant de rue, le goût terrible n'a rien à voir avec la nourriture extraordinaire de la Grèce. Le service était mauvais, une serveuse stressée nous a traités comme si nous étions des animaux et les boissons ont mis du temps à arriver, il n'y a rien de spécial là-bas ! Si vous voulez aller vous régaler ou bien manger, ce n'est pas le bon endroit, je ne le recommande...

Good food and very nice view on the river. What we didn't like, especially when considering that the food was not cheap, was that the table clothes were very dirty with big spots on them. When we asked if they could change it , they only changed one but the second one stayed dirty. The female waiter did not were the mask correctly (to a degree that the mask was useless). When we asked her if she could put on the mask she was visibly annoyed and refused to do so. We understand that it must be very uncomfortable to work with a mask but we have someone with cancer at home and the issue is thus not a joke for us.
