PALACE Weiden - Drinks, Lounge & Shisha — Restaurant in Weiden in der Oberpfalz

The (ONLY) staff here is polite, the music is good, and the environment is okay, but overall this isn't a good place. I ordered a long island and shisha.

The drink was more cola than anything and looked like mud water. It was the worst cocktail I've had.

The shisha had good flavor, but the coals were cold when it was brought to me. It took a lot of effort to get any smoke out of this thing and get the coals warm.

The lounge itself is set up in an old alleyway that was semi-transformed into a lounge. It's mostly outdoor, which would be fine in the middle of a hot day. Unfortunately, this place opens at 1700, which makes the poor design more apparent.

I blame the low quality drinks and shisha on only having 1 staff member here. He was managing the bar, shisha, tables, and payments all by himself. I'm not surprised that the products I ordered were low quality. For a business, I'm appalled at how they operate.

I finished the shisha (couldn't drink the long island I ordered, it tasted terrible) and went to another location. Out of respect for the owner I won't mention the name of the other place, but rest assured that there are better places in Weiden.

EDIT: I spoke with the bartender about the Long Island recipe and he was very receptive to feedback. He is fantastic. Palace's problems are not his fault, but rather from not having enough staff. More employees could really bolster this place.

I actually recommend this place, because I think with more customer input and feedback it could become a nice spot. It needs improvement now, but that also means it...

Die shisha Bar an sich Ist ja schon ein Traum. Die Location und das Ambiente sind hervorragen und laden zum verweilen und genießen ein ☺️ Die Shisha welche durch viel Geschmack & gute und grosse Auswahl an Variationen sehr überzeugt hat, hat mich bewegt auf jeden Fall wieder zurück zu kommen.👋 Am besten jedoch hat mich der Service zufrieden gestellt, da das Personal immer aufgeschlossen und freundlich den Wünschen der Kunden nachkommt, sei es neue frische Kohlen oder leckere Heiß- & Kaltgetränke zu servieren. 🙌🏼👌🏽 Alles in allem ist das die Nr1 in Sachen Shisha WEN/NEW und ich kann sie Jedem herzlichst weiterempfehlen! Schlechte Bewertungen in Sachen Shisha und personal sind für mich nicht nachvollziehbar gewesen, vielleicht einfach blos einen schlecht Tag erwischt...
