This place would easily get 5 stars from me, had it not been for some issues. Positives: food is excellent. Quality-price is really good for this area. Customers travel from Switzerland and France to have decent Turkish food. Service is usually fast, even when there are lots of customers, especially in the warm seasons, when they have outdoor seating area. The staff is helpful, although very busy. There is a lot of energy and movement in this place and still you can enjoy a good relaxing meal. Negatives: well it's really only one very big one: hygiene.. Especially in this relentless covid era. The "kitchen" staff, who happens to be working right under your eyes, sneeze right there, they make small snacks for themselves to eat. All this without washing their hands afterwards. I am very disappointed with this restaurant. A man, probably in his fifties, who works at this restaurant, exhibited aggressive and impatient behavior towards us. When we noticed the restaurant was full, we decided to order sandwiches to take away. To my surprise, this man began speaking loudly and asked us for our preferences without waiting for us to make a choice. I had to call him back in order for him to finish our order. Excellent food. We loved the lamb in charcoal that comes in the grill combo plate. Better value for money than the chops. The beef was the second best. The service is not super friendly and they seemed to struggle understanding our German because we ordered one aryan and they brought two. I also did not like that they charged us 2€ for a small bottle of water when we had asked for tap water. I understand if they charged for tap water, that way we would reduce plastic consumption.
