Afrikana Beach House — Restaurant in Accra

Really beautiful location, very nice design of the beach club also has lots of space and different seating areas, thee food is very good (really good authentic italian pizza, I would only love some more vegetarian options) and the waiters are very nice. I was there several times and always content with the service and food so there is nothing negative to say, only the following which happened last weekend: As I arrived and the waiter came to get my order he asked me if I was going to swim or not saying that they introduced a fee or 150 cedis for the ones not swimming because they had problems recently with people who wanted to swim not finding a table near the pool. I was surprised because 150 cedis is not little but anyways wanted to swim so I though this would not apply to me. Only then he said if I wanted to swim it would also be 150 cedis. At this point I though I misunderstood and asked if he meant only if I don't swim, but he said it is added to the bill if you swim but also if you don't. Then I asked if it is an entrance fee, because it didn't make sense to me asking if one would swim or not if the outcome is the same. In the end, as they could not explain this weird new pricing rule, I decided to leave and go next door to another beach club as I don't think it is fair nor sensible to pay 150 cedis just for breathing the air on their premises. I am already consuming drinks and food which is also not the most inexpensive food ther and would have stayed the whole afternoon so there would have been quite a bill in the end. Please revise...

A few meters from the sea there is this magnificent location where you can spend a carefree evening with friends or partners and savor not only fantastic cocktails, but also magnificent pizzas made in a wood-fired oven, but also superlative haute cuisine dishes prepared under the supervision of chef Aziz, born in Ghana but raised in Italy and who amazed me with an excellent dish of fresh pasta fettuccine with lobster ragout, whose flavor and smell inebriate the palate and smell. fantastic location. kind, professional staff who take care of customers with their attention. I highly recommend it.

Really nice beach bar. The food was really nice. Cocktails were strong and full full of flavours. The sea view and the vibe was really calm and beautiful. We went there in the afternoon and stayed till late night. It was a wonderful day. We were all happy with the service we received. Highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Accra to come here...
