Alisa hotel is one of the best service-based hotels ever. Their customer relationships and care are on top of all I have seen so far. Have had the opportunity to have 2 format sessions there, one was an end-of-year party. The buffet was a proper buffet with an array of dishes, name it, they have it. I have never seen a hotel staff and chef encourage people to eat more food. Lol. Their plates, food, and setting were super great. They have an awesome and clean hotel with a lifeguard, day and night. Their spaces are child friendly and have no mosquitoes or flies. They have fully air-conditioned rooms at the restaurant or you can eat at the open-air restaurant. You can pay with momo, credit card, or cash. Food is always hot and available. Taste the palm wine and thank me later. Great service, great food, and friendly staff, what more could I ask for?

Went for buffet Sunday with my family. Made a reservation for a table way before the scheduled date and was told there wasn’t enough tables when I called earlier and was still told to come. We waited in the lobby till they got us a place outside the buffet hall. The experience wasn’t the same as the fun in the buffet hall and there were visitor trooping in and out of the lobby where we were having lunch 👎🏾 They apologised and we were given 10% discount off but it still wasn’t worth it since we were there to celebrate a birthday. Recommendation: there shouldn’t be any room for excuse when a client book way ahead of time and even called to check if the table booked was still available. Always make provision for client who heed to your rules. Food was great btw.

We went over for the Friday buffet dinner with the live band. Wide variety of food. It was a friend's birthday so we dropped the cake with the hostess for later. Drinks were reasonably priced, music was ok, got better as the night went on. Open air seating under a clear Accra night sky. Local options, grill options, pizza, salads 🥗, very nice all round. The zeal with which the staff process for birthday celebrants is unmatched! There were about 3 celebrants that night and everyone got high level of enthusiasm from the staff. Thank you for a wonderful night. We stayed way past closing time and never once got any attitude from anyone.

I firmly believe that a hotel will either make or break a vacation. Alisa Hotel North Ridge lists 'luxury accommodation' in its details and I can attest that is the furthest thing from the truth. Upon my arrival I am made aware there is not an operational elevator and my luggage had to be lugged upstairs.

Heritage- My room is outfitted in an outdated and dirty red carpet with visible dirty marks. The bathroom floor is also dirty as well as the sink. My shower had hot water however it was not draining. I'll say more about the bathroom later.

Although my room and bathroom were large, it is still a dirty room. The a/c blew cold which I was thankful for. In the morning, I noted that my shower had hot water upon my arrival, however that was the first and last time with hot water. The shower is still not draining properly. Upon calling the front desk to get this issue fixed, the staff moved around in the bathroom for two minutes then told me the hot water was back on and draining, not true might I add.

My host (who booked the room) was able to get me moved to the Landmark and I was thankful. When room was changed, my luggage was left out by receptionist desk for hours and not placed in storage or the new room. When I brought this up to the staff, they were rude, unhelpful and argumentative.

Again, I am on the 2nd floor as the elevator is not operational. Although this room is smaller, the dreadful dirty red carpet is missing. The shower has hot water and drains. Oddly there is a high step-up to get in and out of the shower, safety hazard. The shower door is flimsy and has an opening in the panel which allows water to pool on the ground. No bath rug provided.

While sleeping someone tried to violently break into my room but I had both locks. When I checked the door the bottom lock was unlocked and the top lock was disturbed from the force or pushing my door. When I called the front desk to inform of someone trying to break into my room I am told the housekeeping stated I called for new towels. I did not. As I just been in the new room for a few hours. Very disturbing and at this point I just want this trip to be over with.

When I brought the pooling water after showers to the attention of the housekeeper he stated "you have the shower pressure too high." This makes zero sense as the shower door is faulty.

On another day, I left my room to get breakfast and returned for a nap. Again, someone tried to violently open my door. Housekeeping already went to my room, so what could this be about? By the time I jumped out of the bed they were gone. Again, very disturbing.

The breakfast buffet had several items to pick from, fresh juices and detox water. The restaurant staff could be friendlier and more hospitable. At different times while still eating, someone came to clear my plate. I had to inform them that I was in fact still eating and did not approve of my food being removed from me. I have not experience this before in my travels.

The main hotel appears to be the "luxury" part of the hotel. The staff present more professionally and the overall aesthetics is modern and sophisticated. All in all, this was a very stressful stay at this hotel and made my trip very unpleasant and at times scary. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to rest while enjoying nearby activities...
