TEN25 CAFE — Restaurant in Accra

Ten25 Cafe Shop is getting a 3 star although its one of the beautiful places I have visited. Will explain that under my GOOD and BAD sections.

Let’s start with the BAD.

I went there on a Sunday although on google it’s said to be closed. I’m having that reviewed anyway. Also, the washroom wasn’t as neat as expected (maybe cos it was a rainy Sunday the cleaners couldn’t make it). However, I was expecting washing powder to be a substitute for hand or liquid soaps 🥹 and there were no paper towels to dry my hands after washing them. Again, the female washroom door lock is broken. Honestly was uncomfortable taking a piss cos, I was scared someone would bump into me considering that the male and female washrooms are at the same place😔☹️.

The food took way too long. I was the 2nd customer there and my food came after 35mins. I was famished 😅

The GOOD💕 The place has a very calm atmosphere and it wasn’t busy . Had it not been a rainy day I would have taken amazing pictures. I guess Sundays are the best days to visit cos you hardly see anyone 😊

Their food 🤤😋 is very delicious ( I could tell my veggies were freshly chopped ) I had assorted fried rice and I must say I reallllllly enjoyed it🎉💕

Lastly, the waiter who attended to me was a “gentleman”. He politely explained to me why my meal had kept long and even helped me charge my phone.

He kept changing seats for me bcos I wanted to sit outside at a point and capture a good view of the place but the rains wouldn’t allow. He was always smiling and extremely polite to others who walked in too.

I found out he was called Stephen. So y’all know what to do when you go there💁‍♂️😍

First of all it's sad to note that, for a restaurant that has breakfast options it can't be right for the chefs to arrive at work after 10am. Bad packaging. All the tea had spilled. Secondly i asked them to add some extra bacon because of allergies to mushrooms. There was no bacon at all and and all they did was add two more sausages, which pales in comparison in terms of value for money. Bacon and mushrooms are expensive in Ghana so two sausages can never be a justified compensation. The restaurant must also be educated not to make decisions on behalf of client, because they put in two sausages as compensation for no bacon without my consent and then lied to Bolt foods that they had given us the options after they were informed that there will be a report. They should have just cancelled it, or informed Bolt food that they are incapable of delivery. Bolt foods ended up giving a partial refund but I won't recommend this restaurant to...

Really nice place and atmosphere, almost left cos we didn’t like anything on the menu but the manager called Daniel was soo helpful, he helped come up with a platter which I believe should be named after me. The food was soo good esp the kelewele, the wings well spiced , plating of the food was well done and the drinks soo refreshing. The overall experience was great and what’s greatest is the human element. I would be coming back just to have the experience again. Ask for Daniel when you go next.
