Disappointing! I went there last night with colleagues for drinks and dinner. Drinks were ok (it's quite impossible to mess up a few beers and soda's) but the food is another story. We ordered Ribs, Chicken and Steak, it took the kitchen more than an hour to prepare the food. The place was little busy but not packed, normal Wednesday night I would guess. At the end the food did not came at the same time for the five of us and side orders were missing. Charging 230 GHS for Pork Ribs is one thing, but then bringing a plate with just 5 (!!!) single ribs...feels like a rip-off. Of course, my South African colleagues were not impressed at all and still hungry after such small plates, so we ordered another mixed grill platter. Guess what, it took another hour to bring this dish. We declined to accept the last platter as it was time to leave for us, big story for the waiter, I had to call for the manager and after lengthy discussion he removed the late delivered platter from the bill. My resume: This place has nothing in common with the South African Braai culture and is miles away from an acceptable value for money level. It's a nice place to go for a beer, the location is acceptable, but don't go there if you are hungry or keen for a good steak. There are much better places in Accra for this offering much more...

READ IF YOU ARE AN EXPAT FROM THE AMERICA’’S. We are staying in the area. We decided to try this restaurant out, as it was very close to our accommodation. What a COMPLETE disaster. If you want to get assaulted by visitors with a sense of entitlement - eat here. This restaurant is non- smoking for everyone except a select few - specifically a select few non-locals who drink at this location all day (we arrived at approximately 4:00 pm). When we inquired about smoking in a non-smoking section (with visible signs) - the manager attended the table and asked the other patrons to stop smoking - the patrons refused. The manager then proceeded to tell the patrons we complained (nearby table). The smoking patrons became very agitated that we complained - and stood up, approached our table and began arguing with my significant other. Because my significant other is originally from Ghana - the employees and security from this restaurant grabbed him (we did nothing wrong). Approximately 10 security and restaurant employees on my significant other who did not even initiate the conflict. The entitled smoking patron….who started the entire situation - no one on him. We paid our bill and waited in the parking lot for our order - to go. So if want to get jumped and accused of something you did not do - ENJOY...

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before (in Sept) and absolutely loved their ribeye steak — it was amazing for the price! I recommended it to everyone around me.

However, last week a colleague went there with his family (after my recommendation) and told me that the meat — especially the ribeye — was tough and chewy. So I went back myself this Sunday, and unfortunately, I experienced the same thing. The ribeye steak was hard to cut, full of sinew and fat, nothing like what I had enjoyed before.

I was really disappointed by the sudden drop in meat quality. I even asked the waiter if they had changed their meat supplier, but he said no — so I can’t understand what caused such a difference.

That being said, the staff is always excellent, the service is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is lovely, especially with the kids’ play area, which makes it a very family-friendly place (even though I don’t have kids myself).

I truly hope the meat quality goes back to what it used to be because it used to be one of my favorite places for a good steak in Accra. In the meantime, if anyone has recommendations for a great steak place in Accra, I’d love...

Great atmosphere, good location for dates/meetings. Definitely a good place to relax after work, slightly pricey.

So, depends what you like, right? If you're looking for somewhere inauthenticity Ghanaian, then this could be the place for you - only place I found in Ghana with no rice on the menu - but it goes have meat, lots of meat, oh yeh, and it has meat, and..... more meat - it is great for that. Personally speaking, the place is too expat-central for me + of course, the middle classes that like to associate and be seen in such places. From the expats at the bar drinking off their hangovers from the night before, to the live screening and audience engrossment of England playing their Euro qualifying game - all the things I try to avoid BUT, gotta say - burgers are nice (albeit super-pricey) and staff are very good, and it does Sunday markets of local makers - check for dates tho'. In summary, just not my thing - it may be yours tho'
