Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try the food, so I can’t comment on that. We called ahead to confirm if they were open, and the person assured us they were. Based on this, we took an Uber to the location.

When we arrived, the gate was closed, and the security guard wouldn’t let us in. They made us wait outside under the sun while they called someone. Eventually, a young lady came out and told us they were closed for the day due to a Thanksgiving function starting at 4 PM.

This lack of communication and organization is highly disappointing. It’s unprofessional to confirm availability over the phone only for customers to arrive and find the place closed. While some might dismiss this as “just the way things are in Ghana,” that’s no excuse for poor service. Businesses should strive for better standards. To make matters worse, their information on Google, social media, or other sites was not updated to reflect the closure.

Truthfully, the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The food took 2 hours to come even though we had a reservation. My friends’ food came 20-30 minutes before my food (so my English breakfast took about 2 hours and a half to come). Myself and my friend had the smallest orders and yet they took the longest to come. When this was addressed, a member of staff did bring us complimentary drinks after we requested. However, the service worsened. Once the bill came, they attempted to lie about the price of items despite the given menus saying a different price as well as their website. They attempted to over charge by 30 cedis per portion. When we raised this, the manager said it was a mistake but returned after to say the waiter should have told us the prices had changed. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Love the setting, decor and live musician? We had 3 order of the salmon with omelette on toast. The other 2 people didn’t like it and one of them did not even eat it. I was not impressed much, it did not meet my expectations nonetheless I did eat it. One of the meal we ordered comes with hash brown, the waiter initially said she would bring it separately, after a little while we inquired about it which she said it was served already. She insisted the pancakes were the hash browns, anyway we spoke with someone else who apologized and brought the hash browns. Not sure if that waitress knew what hash browns were.
