Noble House - Osu — Restaurant in Accra

On January 4th, 2024, three friends and I met for lunch at Noble House in Osu. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our waitress was exceptionally friendly. However, our experience took a turn when a man, who appeared to be a supervisor of Indian descent, approached our table to inquire about our satisfaction and any additional needs. We informed him that one of us required ice and inquired if there were any complimentary items available. To our surprise, this man questioned whether we had put anything in his pocket in order to request complimentary items. He didn't stop there, he went on to assert that nothing is free, particularly in Africa. Throughout his remarks, he wore a smirk on his face and whispered his words with a tone of contempt. After he finished speaking, he walked away and the ice we had requested never came. Despite our disappointment, we maintained our composure and refrained from causing a scene.

There are certain restaurants in Accra that immediately offer you chips upon seating, even before you place an order. Some establishments even provide a plate of fruits after your meal without you having to ask. I am not suggesting that Noble House should adopt the same practices, but what they should avoid is disrespecting their customers who choose to spend their hard-earned money at their establishment, when they could have chosen any other place. This supervisor's behavior was highly unprofessional, and it raises concerns about how he treats those who report to him if this is how he interacts...

Thank you to the all the Staff of Noble House Osu branch for making my birthday dinner with my friends a memorable one. We were soo happy and enjoyed our chat. We have been apart from each other for almost a year and my bday brought us all together. Your good service also added more joy to our dinner. After tell one waiter it was my birthday. He went and came back with a beautiful surprise. It wasn’t anything expensive but to me it was the most expensive gift I have ever received. It was my time experiencing this kind of surprise and it was really beautiful. The waiters, the Manager, the chef, and the security man. I am very grateful for your warm reception. The food was also very tasty. The manager can speak twi too.. Hahahah It was a beautiful evening. The jokes with my friends. Noble House restaurant does not only serve chiness food, they have Indian food as well. You can call for delivery and take out too. The food is plenty to share and not soo expensive. I enjoy the fried squid and the chicken wings. The fish sauce and the oriental fried rice was soo delicious. I highly recommend everyone to have lunch or their dinner at Noble House Restaurant. When I went in, it wasn't busy, yet when I ordered, they got my order wrong even though I had said it out loud and pointed to it on the menu. I had ordered a soup noodle, but I got a stir fried noodle instead. These are on completely different pages of the menu.

I brought this up when it came out, but instead of just accepting that they made a mistake, two of the waitstaff kept suggesting that I had actually ordered the stir fried noodle, which is what really made me annoyed. They finally agreed to change it, but it would take more time and I needed to get back to the office, so I ended up just telling them to leave it, even though it cost twice as much as what I originally ordered. And on top of that, it wasn't good. I ate about 1/3 and left the rest. Waste of...
