The Catfish Grill @ CENCOR Venue — Restaurant in Accra

Nice laid back place for dinner. It's a kind of foreign concept for me, so I enjoyed the experience. The fish takes long to be cooked, so don't go there if you want fast food. You can complement with chips or yam fries. They have all sorts of drinks and alcoholic beverages, but be ready to get dirty and share the fish with whoever is with you. A sort of communal meal. Now, the flavor: amazing, but on the side of very spicy. Be ware and talk to your waiter to cook/spice it up to your taste. It is really hot when served, so you may burn the tips of your fingers, still worth the burn! Not giving 5 stars, because the ambience may not be for everyone, screens to watch sports in site, the weather was nice, but it is an open space so if it is too hot or humid, you Amy not fully enjoy. Ordered river fish and acheke .. came with a red dyed acheke and fish (looking like fried rice and fish literally) .

It’s the first time seeing a heavily spiced acheke that changes the Colour and taste.

My expectations was quickly dashed and I mentioned to the server that it’s not what I expected of an acheke meal - she insisted that was how they did their acheke - my point is that it’s not standard acheke and would appreciate if she passed the feedback to the chefs ; she insisted that was their “style” ..

My review is meant to get the attention of the operators to understand that it’s important to keep to the expectations of patrons and advise variations in menu or take feedback of same.

Nice place to be with family and loved ones... food is good... order service attendant was professional in her delivery but missed to ask us of we wanted it spicy or mild...(it was our first time)

We like spicy and luckily they served us that when we arrived but what if we were not the spicy food kind of customers? The experience wouldn't have been the best

On ground service from attendants can be better... we had to call for most of what we needed... good idea with the device that keeps flies away👏👏

Why is there no publicity of this place...? patronage will be a lot better with that approach.. we were there on a Sunday and were joined by 3 other guests in about 3 hours of our stay... maybe there were...
