Poseidon Restaurant Kokkari Samos — Restaurant in Aegean

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The owner of the restaurant is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, making sure that every guest is well taken care of.

The food at this restaurant is simply amazing! Every dish I tried was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. It's evident that great care is taken in selecting the finest ingredients and creating delicious meals.

One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking view from my seat. The restaurant is perfectly situated, offering a stunning view of the sea. It was a delight to enjoy my meal while taking in such a gorgeous setting.

I also want to mention how delightful the owner's mother is. She greets every guest with a warm smile and ensures that everyone feels welcome and appreciated. Her hospitality adds an extra layer of warmth to the overall dining experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The combination of the owner's expertise, the delicious food, and the beautiful ambiance make it a true gem. I can't wait to...

The service & ambiance the night we visited Poseidon was not very nice unfortunately. The service was very chaotic & didn’t take the full time to hear you out about your experience, before you can answer they already say “Thank you”. There is one person responsible for taking the orders & the cash-register, unfortunately we were seated right next to the place were people were waiting to pay. The thing that amazed us the most was that costumers were asked if they wanted to leave a tip in a hasty manner instead of it being a free choice, it almost makes you feel guilty about not leaving a tip.

The location, and the owner (woman at the front) of the place seemed nice. We wished our experience was different since we were looking forward to having dinner at Poseidon.

Quality of the food was O.K , could use a lot more spices (in our opinion).

We will not return to eat here in Kokkari, and neither should you.

Service would be better if the younger waiters were also allowed to take orders & to actually speak to people instead of the half-not costumer-friendly manner that is being...

Just left the restaurant after eating something that felt like leftovers….

We ordered the meze, and zucchini flowers. This was probably a mistake. The food was not tasty, there were 4 different types of «meat/fish/vegetable»-balls. Incredible tasteless and boring. The vegetables that was served were canned artichoke hearts, peas and some other mushy food. The food was expensive and not up to standard. Very disappointing place. The wonderful lady greeting the guests is the only beauty of the restaurant.

Please do not order the meze. Maybe the restaurant should remove this from the menu.

(The restaurant has answered back, and it is a disappointing answer. I know what Meze is, and this was so bad. The price was 40€ for food that truly looked and tasted like leftovers. It was not warm, and the «light» Aegan meal of peas and artichokes was clearly from a can. They should take this off the menu and just apologise instead of finding excuses...
