Update 2025.. It is so good, Anna is the best in the Kitchen, Hospitality is always very good! The Carpacio is still our favorite..fresh beef slices.. you won't find anywhere else. The fried Zucchini is a receipt from Thannasis mother.. We are not able to find a better one on the Island. Family traditions are the best..

After our first review five years ago, we give an update 2024.

Food is better than ever. New listings on the menu, good advise from Thannasis with your questions and choises, and service is as good as it was in the beginning. Anna is the best chief in any kitchen.

The Carpaccio, you cannot get this quality anywhere in Holland. It has a WOW-factor. The Beef Tagliata, it is amazing. And the Fetta cheese sauce, they should forbid it.. you cannot eat it anywhere else anymore after tasting this.

We are very thankfull for the hospitality of the very hard working team of Zakore. They always make Samos complete for us.

Update 2021: the restaurant doesnt offer lunch any more. The focus is now on dinnertime. New opening hours are mon-sat 17:30 - 23:30, sun from 14:00 - 23:30.

Now 2019 in year 3, the 2016 new founded restaurant reached the level they wanted to have: Every evening many tables are claimed, 2 waiters & chief Thanasis garanty a fast, silent and attentive service outside and the kitchen team (Anna + 3 more) realise all dishes quick without an long waiting time. They offer traditionell food, cooked for hours before in the oven, also as well fresh grilled dishes. The butcher of village is Thanasis father, so quality meat is presented to the guest in front fridge. We have ordered a chicken spit with bacon (very tasty because of the smokey taste of the bacon) and stuffed bifteki (stuffed with cheese & tamatos ). A absolute delight! The place, the owner and the food perfect. A family run restaurant which shows the love of hosting. The owner Thanasis is lovely and funny man, always in good nature and welcoming. The location romantic and cozy in the heart of the village. Situated next to a small chapel and close to the sea. The food is excellent and you can be sure all is fresh and high quality meats, since he is the butchers son. All is worth recommending but I would like to point out two must try’s : the wine sauce with any kind of meat and the dakko salad, best I have had. Bravo to the team. Great work.
