A couple weeks ago my instagram showed me a video of a girl cooking crab in her dorm room which made me crave crab. I knew greece was not the home of crab so I set my eyes on when I arrived in Canada so I could live it up with the koreans in KTOWN eating some juicy buttery crab. To my surprise this very beautiful restaurant had not only crab, but a crab pasta. The crab that I ate (may it rest in piece) was a raving crab, it had such a good life and I think it was pleased to know its death was worth it for tutu thumbalini. Now if you order the crab, don't waste your tastebuds on the yellow mystery sauce, just rawdog it for all its natural juices. As a woman on a diet, I let myself loose at the sight of all the perfect food, yet I did not feel heavy when I went home. It is obvious that this resto has learned to perfect their dishes and has reached a master status. And dont skimp on the tarama, (if you dip fries in it you are an honorary greek) its done very perfectly. For dessert? get the icecream sandos and be the fatty that you are and also get something else because...
Read moreAlthough the food was delicious the service is terribly pretentious and quite unprofessional in how they handled our reservation issue. We’d booked a couple of night before and had specifically requested to be seated on one of the front tables. When we were shown another one on the second row of tables they did not even have the politeness to apologise for the mix up or try to find some plausible excuse why they could not accommodate our specific request. They called us liars. No you never said that said the cheeky waitress to my husband. We only stayed and had dinner there as we were expecting company to join us and we didn’t want to mess up their plans. There was no effort to compensate at the end with perhaps an after dinner drink offering. I’d go there for the food but no thank you, I don’t tolerate the attitude so that is a No no for us from now on. The manageress destroyed our evening by her arrogance...
Read moreThe restaurant has been recommended to us by friends as a "don` t miss it".
Unfortunately, the evening was a total flop all round. The price-performance ratio is not good at all. The food was mediocre overall and the portions were very small. The tables are so close together that you sit closer to your neighbour than to your dining partner. The consequence of this is a lack of privacy and an incredibly high noise level in the restaurant. The highlight of the evening was after the white wine was opened and we noticed that the temperature was far too high, the staff apologised: "Everything is warm on Antiparos". I cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. There are certainly much better ones...
