Spathis is good, above average but certainly not blow your mind amazing. The staff is friendly but a bit spaced out, the baklava is juicy and filled with walnuts but I’ve had better, the portokalipita is solid but I’ve had better, the walnut cake is amazing and the sandwiches are just ok. It’s a chill place to get a quick dessert and a water or coffee but certainly not the hype others make it out to be. Perhaps a lot of people visiting Spathis have never been to a real Greek bakery or have been eating too much marmite so I get that (lol) but Spathis is a decent and above average spot for a quick fix, nothing more,...
