Overall a mediocre experience that was saved by the good and attentive service we received from our waiters. Ordered six dishes: a salad with fresh salmon, Kefalonian riganada, grilled halloumi cheese, hankour beyendi octopus, fresh tuna fillet and prawns orzo.

Salad was very nice and the salmon was cooked to perfection, wasn’t dry at all and it was a nice alternative to your usual Greek salad. Kefalonian Riganada wasn’t what was expected: bread was a baguette whereas normally for riganada you use a days old bread that you soak with some water and olive oil then add tomatoes and lots of feta. This was more of a antipasti sort of thing that wasn’t that great.

The grilled halloumi was nice and the pesto that accompanied it put a nice touch to the dish.

The octopus was honestly the best dish of our dinner ! Was cooked to perfection, the sauce was ridiculously good and the eggplant purée was to die for. If we ever visit this restaurant again we will definitely have it again. Now to our mains: the prawns was orzo was decent, it had a good amount of prawns , the orzo was nicely cooked and the sauce was tasty. It did need a bit of salt however it was a tasty dish overall. The tuna steak was ordered medium but arrived well done. It was an uneven piece of steak so I think that was the reason it was so unevenly cooked. We had a tsipouro and gratis mastiha and a dessert.

Overall we were a bit disappointed by the restaurant and it’s dishes ,2/6 were good, the octopus was phenomenal but the rest not something that was memorable. Service on the other hand was very professional and added one star to the review. Location is...

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was deeply upsetting on multiple levels. I ordered the sea bass, which tasted slightly odd at the time, and I later became severely ill with what was clearly food poisoning. I was sick for over 48 hours and it completely ruined the rest of my week.

As disturbing as that was, what happened outside the kitchen was even more unsettling. While we were sitting outside, a visibly malnourished and terrified cat approached a table nearby. What happened next was shocking—the waiter came over and kicked the cat. When we expressed our outrage, he casually said, "It’s my cat," as if that somehow excused the cruelty. That poor animal was clearly starving, traumatised, and afraid of people. To make matters worse, there was another cat wandering the premises with only one eye.

If the treatment of animals around a restaurant matters to you even remotely—and it should—please stay away. This place lacks basic hygiene, compassion, and responsibility, both in their food handling and how they treat...

This place is either incredibly overrated or they simply didn’t like the look of us, which we picked up on the moment we arrived. The service was absolutely terrible. Our starter plates were taken away while we were still eating, and the mains were plopped down in front of us without even checking if we were ready. The mains were supposed to be the special of the day, but they were unbelievably bland—no flavor whatsoever. The fish was cooked well, but it was drenched in a sauce that tasted like nothing. The so-called "potatoes" were just poorly cooked, cut-up fries. The salt shaker was disgusting and sticky, adding nothing to the dish. To make matters worse, there were flies everywhere—not entirely the restaurant's fault, but it certainly didn’t help. They could have at least taken away the bowl of prawn shells from our starters, which only attracted more flies. This was the most expensive and disappointing dinner we've had all week. My advice: stick to the friendlier, tastier spots in town and don’t be fooled by...

We went here twice last year, and we chose Sunrise to celebrate a special occasion this year. If you love fish and seafood don't miss this restaurant because everything is always fresh - last night we tried the sweet local lobster with linguine - delicious! I enjoyed the pasta too because it was yummy. The next tabble had fish and it smelled fantastic as well - they recommend what they have fresh. Neither of us are really dessert people but we shared the Traditional Ekme with Mastic icecream and sour cherries, sublime. One of the most nicely balanced desserts I've had for a long time. It's also fantastic the restaurant has an excellent sommelier who can recommend wine by the glass or bottle to compliment your meal. There is a good selection of local wine on the list. Service is really good - they do everything to make sure you enjoy your evening. Enjoy a cocktail or finish with a good coffee. The view and ambience are lovely. You won't be disappointed but make a reservation for dinner if you go in the tourist season.

We really enjoyed our meal here! The service was really great, the main waiter recommended a delicious white wine for our meals. We had cocktails and bruschetta to start- honestly divine! Then we shared the octopus starter, that was also delicious! The octopus was well cooked and seasoned and the fava and caramelised onions were a great accompaniment. Then one of us had tuna and the other had grilled prawns with avocado and they were both very enjoyable. The only complaint was that the tuna was so big! And I’d not call that a complaint at all really. We decided to have the digestif cocktails for ‘dessert’ as we were so full. Also delicious and came with great little nibbles on the side. Do go here, it was a great night. Unfortunately we didn’t have the option of a locally caught fish that night as the weather hadn’t been so good, but as mentioned everything else on the menu was delicious anyway. Ευχαριστώ sunrise
