Mr.Dim — Restaurant in Athens

First time I order from that place and I had make my order through wolt app! Which I had been doing for many years by far. Hmm so I order chicken pad Thai I had read the ingredients ..Pad Thai which I have been ordering for like 13 years. So I tried in different countries many different restaurants and I was never disappointed. Oh untill now. I swear this restaurant has nothing to do with Asian food or not for sure with pad thai. Sorry it was just not eatable ! I really never eat so bad overcooked pad Thai with more peanut butter I consume in my whole life 😅 so I honestly got disappointed!! So I decided to ask for refund cuz it just cost me 25e as I order 2 portions to feed my family .btw (even my child did not wanted to eat for the first time) …I contacted volt and they said they had contacted the venue I waited after all 24h to get respond . Cuz they were not responding. Finally they did ! And what I hear . This is how we do it… no refund approved. Just basically f… u eat what u order we don’t care. I wish u luck . And great customers… I hope you do well in life with the terrible food and the worst approach to your customers. I never in my life wrote a bad review but I guess always must be the first...

Παρήγγειλα το chicken rice(10.50€) , δύο σουσι, και το yakisoba special noodles (12€). Πριν παραγγείλω κοίταξα τις κριτικές και είδα κάποιες να λένε πως κάποια φαγητά δεν ήταν value for money και ότι ήταν άνοστα. Φυσικά υπήρχαν και οι καλές κριτικές και δεν άφησα τον εαυτό μου επηρεαστεί από τις αρνητικές. Εξάλλου αν δεν δοκιμάσεις ο ίδιος δεν μπορείς να εκφέρεις και άποψη. Τα νουντλς είχαν μια ξινισμένη γεύση όχι απαραίτητα πως κάτι ήταν χαλασμένο στο πιάτο αλλά η μυρωδιά θύμιζε αυτή του ξινισμένου λάχανου. Άρα προφανώς τα αφήσαμε μισά. Το chicken rice είχε σε μια πρώτη όψη ένα κιτρινωπο χρώμα και λέω Ε δεν γίνεται... κινέζικο παράγγειλα όχι ινδικό. Εντελη είχε πραγματι Κάρι μέσα κάτι που φυσικά δεν αναγράφεται στην λεζάντα. Αλλιώς δεν θα το επέλεγα κιόλας. Ήταν στεγνό και το κοτόπουλο σου έδινε την αίσθηση ότι το πήραν ολόκληρο από τον Μασούτη, κράτησαν το ψαχνό και το έριξαν κατευθείαν μέσα. Επιπροσθέτως δεν ένιωθες καθόλου την sweet Chilli sauce (η οποία αναγραφοταν στην λεζαντα). Μάλλον έπρεπε να πατήσω την επιλογή έξτρα sweet Chilli sauce για να την νιώσω με το αζημίωτο φυσικά +1€. Βλέπω κάποια σχόλια που λένε ότι κάποτε το μαγαζί ήταν decent και σέρβιρε γευστικά πιάτα και ότι με το πέρασμα του χρόνου το χάλασαν. That's the case λοιπόν. Τα δύο αστέρια γιατί τα σουσι ήταν πολύ καλά και γευστικά.

I ordered the chicken rice (€10.50), two sushi rolls, and the yakisoba special noodles (€12). Before ordering, I checked the reviews and saw some saying that some dishes were not value for money and that they were bland. Of course, there were also good reviews, and I didn't let myself be influenced by the negative ones. After all, if you don't try it yourself, you can't form an opinion.

The noodles had a sour taste, not necessarily that something was spoiled in the dish, but the smell resembled that of fermented cabbage. So, we obviously left them half-eaten.

The chicken rice initially had a yellowish color, and I thought, "This can't be right... I ordered Chinese, not Indian." But it actually had curry in it, something that wasn't mentioned in the description. Otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen it. It was dry, and the chicken gave the impression that they bought a whole chicken from Masoutis (a super market brand) kept the soft part and put it straight in. Additionally, you couldn't feel the sweet chili sauce (which was listed in the description). I probably should have clicked the option for extra sweet chili sauce to actually taste it, for an additional €1.

I see some comments saying that the restaurant used to be decent and served tasty dishes, but over time, they've deteriorated. That's the case here.

So this is mostly a take away restaurant. It has only a few tables (even less outside for the summer) Especially for the summer time the road in front of the place is busy and noisy so expect to be a little loud. Food is very good and everything seems to be dealt with care. Service is also good and fast. Prices are a bit on the upper side (especially for take away orders) but if this will be for your monthly take on Chinese food then it's money well spend. Overall decent food at an almost...
