Dei Fratelli - Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Smyrni

We were a bit disappointed with the food during our visit. We started with the gnocchi with guanciale, which turned out to be underwhelming - more like sliced bacon than true guanciale, and the overall flavor was just "meh." I also ordered the rib eye, which, unfortunately, came out cold. What made it more confusing was that the restaurant wasn’t busy - only two other couples were dining - so I’m not sure how the food lost its heat so quickly. To top it off, the steak itself lacked seasoning and was quite bland.

On the positive side, the wine selection was excellent, the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a nice place, but sadly the food didn’t live up to...

In this restaurant whatever prices you see in the menu are EXCLUDED taxes…first this I experienced this. We went three (3) persons and although as per menu prices the cost would have been abt 70 €, we paid almost 95 € which were declared ONLY in the final invoice ------------------------------------ as a reply to yr last comments that my above comments are NOT true, I can very easily post pictures of the prices of yr menu (as catalogue and as posted on the table), where anyone could very clearly see that the prices declared are the same with the first part of the charged invoice and NOT with the total charge of the...

Relatively small place with an open kitchen. There were 2 waitresses and 2 chefs when we were there, but it was a Monday evening, and a lot of nearby places were closed as well. The waitress was really friendly and helpful, the wine menu was greek only but she helped us translate. The pasta was not overcooked, the whole place has a really great modern italian vibe. Surprisingly there were no other guests, but we had a really great time there, and I would definitely recommend trying it if you want a great, authentic italian meal.
