As a self described foodie, I am thrilled to share my glowing review of a Greek restaurant in Athens that I recently had the pleasure of dining at. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was struck by the warm and welcoming ambiance that immediately told me I was in the heart of Greece.
The menu at this restaurant was a true delight, featuring a wide range of authentic Greek dishes made with the freshest ingredients. I started off my meal with a traditional Greek salad, which was bursting with flavor and color thanks to the juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and tangy feta cheese. The dressing was a perfect balance of olive oil, vinegar, and herbs, bringing out the best in the fresh ingredients.
For my main course, I tried the kontasouvli, a classic Greek dish made with spit roasted pork and served with potatoes. The flavors were rich and complex, with each bite revealing a new layer of deliciousness. The pork was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, and the was seasoned just right, giving it a hearty and satisfying taste.
To round out our meal, we enjoyed the incredibly delicious garlic sauce, delightfully fluffy pita, and without a doubt the best tzatziki I have ever tasted. We were delighted to try some beautifully finished pork souvlaki that delivered mind blowing flavor.
Overall, I highly recommend this Greek restaurant in Athens to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Greece. The food was simply delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was inviting and warm. If you find yourself in Athens, make sure to stop by and try the kontasouvli - you won't be...
Read moreon our last day in greece we thought of coming here, even if we lived in the building situated side by side of the restaurant. and it was the best night we had in greece
from the beginning, the waiter was very kind and heartwarming, explaining us about every item that we asked, very quick with bringing the food and polite all the time. 11/10.
the food was good, starting from tzatziki with pita, a bit sour, one little gyro and one big platter of souvlaki with pita on both sides. their sauce was not really on our taste, but maybe someone else likes it. anyway, its a 9.5/10 for food.
the whole place is warming, good music, good people around and very well decorated. chairs are comfortable, leather pillow below, big enough so they won't cause pains. 10/10
and the prices are very very good for greece, in our opinion. for example, we went to monasteraki, plaka, other places like this where beer is minimum 6 euro / 500ml bottle, which is alot for a romanian, translating to ~30 lei. here, its 3 euro, which is much much better. the gyro 3.5 euro, very good price, very good food. souvlaki plate was 10 euro but it could easily feed 3 people. 11/10
very very good experience, definitely will come again here, drinking, eating, playing cards, having...
Read moreI have been to this Restaurant the night I arrived in Athens because it was just in front of the building I stayed. My husband and I were a bit afraid we couldn't find something good for us as we are vegan, but it was a bit late and that one was the only choice, so we decided to give it a try. BIG SURPRISE! Not only the restaurant is huge and super nice but it has a terrace with a balcony that allows you to take a nice look at the city. George, our waiter was literally the best!! He gave us different options and also wanted to be sure the dishes suggested din't have any non-vegan ingredients, calling the owner on the phone to have an extra point of view! (Really appreciated
