What a find! We were invited in by the host who stood outside where live music was playing on the street and convinced us into trying their menu. We ordered a couple of appetizers and 2 main courses between the two of us. The portions were plenty! The beetroot tzaziki with pita bread was the perfect start to the dinner. The zucchini balls took us by surprise, a lot of flavor and texture packed in those. For the main course, we had veg moussaka which was delicious (and a lot!) and the risotto which was probably the best dish I've had throughout our trip! Creamy and flavorful! The staff was very welcoming & friendly, they gave us our time to enjoy our dinner leisurely. The bill was quite reasonable, but what surprised me was the question of 'do you want to tip', we said yes and the next question was 'how much'. We were planning on leaving a tip for the great service but it's odd to have to answer that verbally instead of selecting it discreetly on the...
Read moreYesterday evening, after looking at the abundance of restaurants available in the area we decided to try this establishment. Immediately we were greeted in a friendly and relaxed manner. When seated we we're treated to attentive, friendly and efficient service from the whole staff which works excellently as a team. The food was delicious. Better than I thought it would be because of the location so close to the "touristy" area and the portions were large. Large enough that I had to take home the majority of my meal which I had as a late night snack. We were so impressed and satisfied that we went this morning to try breakfast. It was no surprise that it was excellent, and once again, generous portions to the point that I needed an after breakfast nap. Please, if you are in Athens and have an appetite visit this wonderful place. We have one more day here and I anticipate that I won't have a meal anywhere else. Thank you to the...

I visited Athens for 3 days, and I went to this place three times during my stay — that’s how much I liked it!
They have a happy hour from 12:00 to 19:00, with beers for €3 and cocktails for €7, which is a great deal. I always ordered the beer, and it was served very cold — perfect for the hot summer days in Athens.
As for the food, I ordered the fried squid (amazing!), the fried cheese — a typical Greek dish — and the souvlaki sticks. Everything was quite good.
All the staff — both waiters and waitresses — were incredibly kind, helpful, and empathetic with customers. I even saw one of the waitresses helping people access the building across the street (clearly an Airbnb), which shows how caring and attentive they are.
I highly recommend this place and would definitely return on my next...
